Who thinks It'd be a really cool idea for Konami to remake the Zanzibar and Outer Heaven games like they did with Twin Snakes?

That would be an interesting idea although I think the hardcore fans of the retro games would cry "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"Personally I think remaking them would be good. Shed more light on the MGS backstory and a Snake vs Big Boss showdown for all to see in wonderful 3D

No. Those games have been made. I'd rather the series move forward. But the next one is going to be the last one. So after the last one maybe they should update their first one for a much wider market? Besides there was no problem with them updating MGS1! That was pretty popular

The next one is not the last one, just probably the last one with Kojima directing/producing. I reckon a series reboot will happen after MGS4 - completely new cast, series reset like Casino Royale.

The fact that Kojima is no longer directing/producing is exatly why it will be the last one. Anyone who tries to make an MGS5 will no doubt balls up the formula and kill the series then and there.
