Sonic Battle may not have a fantastic story but it interested me way more than many other stories in the series (noy saying much, I suppose). The fighting itself is fairly interesting but does get old quick, I concur. Graphics? They work, I don't care, you can see what you're doing well.

My only real problems with Battle, aside from the repetition, are the balancing issues. Fighting Gamma/Omega/Whatever is always a pain in the arse because of his self-destruct.

Sega has confirmed that they're utterly, utterly useless at the concept of episodic gaming and that Episode 2 will be the last. Maybe at least they'll be able to focus attention towards more games like Generations now, and we can go back to ignoring Sonic 4 ever happened.

Hmm. I recently saw some new screenshots of the game, and I like the boss of the first zone. It's so pretty looking.

DLC accessed by having both Episode 1 and 2 of the game. I guess it was a good thing I got Episode 1 after all. *Remembers I got Episode 1 on the Wii* [censored].

Cool, it's Sonic and Knuckles all over again. Except this will be worse by some order of magnitude.

I still feel Segas silly after the announcement of ep 1 believing it's a huge success so to make it as good as s&k Epic saga there will be 4 episodes to make it the biggest sonic game to date. Failed stuff this let's make it 2 episodes with extra DLc and move on and leave the horrid affair behind us as we can'take classic physics for toffee. Moral of the story you can never replicate the awesomeness of the mega drive games.

30:05. There's a red star ring on the left of the screen. Also the fire spewing Orbinaut clone looks awesome. Otherwise not a lot to go on, but I like the idea of Metal Sonic levels.

Yeah, somehow I don't think this is going to be worth shelling out on Episode 1 for...

If you buy it off Steam now, you can play the full game.
Ergo, we've got another leak on our hands, only it's worse than PartnerNET.

I saw the Metal Sonic boss in White Park. I liked the music, and the new tricks Metal Sonic had.

YES! The Death Egg Mk. II's shown simply deactivating and NOT blown up! No continuity issues, Robotnik just has to retool it to the one seen in Sonic the Fighters For the record, I'm a continuity obsessive git who would've freaked had it done the latter...

Assuming you're character starts with none, and collects the other seven, once you're cloned, the emerald you get from the clone is a fake. [/plotholeglossover]

[/plotholeglossover] Or perhaps one was artificially made by Tails in order to supply enough power to get to the DEII =P He did it in SA2, perhaps he's been trying for a while now :L
