I'm confused as to how cannon fodder (which is all Stormtroopers are or ever have been) being used as cannon fodder for the pure purpose of showing off some cool Force/Jedi related action somehow diminishes the quality of a game we have yet to see a single second of..

To be fair, there were a lot more than Stormtroopers. There were also tons of droids and two mid-bosses.

When Jedi are involved, everything is cannon fodder in Star Wars. I dunno, maybe the Stormtroopers thought he couldn't block shots at point blank by not giving him time to see them coming. Who knows. They're stormtroopers, intelligence isn't their strong point.

Out soon. Looking forward to this!
I went into Game near me and the store manager went all nerdy when I asked him about it and got excited about this extra DVD which has all the cinematics from the first game as one long movie.. why would you get excited over watching something which you actually experienced first hand in playing the first game, not to mention you wouldn't get to play the levels that follow the cut scenes.
I find it really uninteresting, am I the only one?

The best pre-release movie before game thing that I liked (or rather, released with an album) was the one that came with the San Andreas 2-disc soundtrack that a 5/10 minute video about CJ in Liberty City and what happened in San Andreas prior to his arrival.
Watching cutscenes from the previous game? I'm ok thanks.

My anticipation levels for this game took a pretty huge knock when they cancelled the planned third game. This game has been made with continuation in mind - and now that's not going to happen. It's like a childhood of cliffhanger cartoon endings that never get resolved all over again.

I'd heard the rumour, but didn't know it had been confirmed. That sucks.

The demo is out now! Only for gold users though. Anyone have a 48 hour trial they would like to donate to me?

It's downloaded and waiting for me to grab 5 minutes of spare time (to be fair, I have five minutes now but I decided to pop on here )

Question for you guys, some companies are doing pre-order bonuses i.e Amazon are doing Saber Throw as an exclusive move, and Play.com are doing Force Repulse as one. Do you think they will be available in the normal game or only from those websites? Or do you think they will be available by entering codes like when TFU was released?

Didn't enjoy the demo very much. I don't like the fact that it doesn't show what type of enemy you killed in the top left of the screen and shows that you get points for how you killed them e.g Stormtrooper, Long Way Down Bonus
I don't really like the fact that the mini bosses didn't have a health bar so you have no idea how much health they have left. The level itself seemed quite short and boring, and if that's the first level of the game when it comes, I think it isn't as good as Darth Vader vs Wookies as in TFU1.
Mind trick is an ok power, didn't really use it very much. I didn't really see much dismemberment on the demo, to me all the people I killed kept their body parts...
What have the done to force grip? You try and throw someone and you seem to be moving them so gently it's pointless? In number 1 you could throw someone behind you and they go flying really far, with this though you throw someone and they only go a few metres so if you want to chuck someone off the ledge you literally have to grip them and move them so they're actually off the ledge then let go which seems a bit stupid.
Like the new lightning ball power, that's good, much better idea than the lightning shield.
The demo reminded me of the Psi-Ops game for the original Xbox from years ago.
TFU 1 question, in order for me to get the achievements for the 100 kills with grapple moves and 100 kills with Aerial combos, what's the best way to do it because I've gone to an earlier save where I've used medium difficulty and I still seem to be killing people before the end of the move?

Force grip might be something that you power up. There were a few things that put me off (although it was a week or so ago now so I can't exactly remember what it was), but there wasn't anything in that that makes me think "do not buy".

So I'm pre-ordering it from Game and getting the DVD thing. Not because I want it, but because it's the cheapest - which is very surprising.
