Can't wait. I loved the first one, including the DLC. Was a bit annoyed that the Hoth DLC was only available if you bought the Ultimate Sith Edition!

Hmm.
First one had potential, but was marred by unbelievably bad enemy design and gameplay design. Story was top class though and it did graphics pretty well.
As long as they've fired whoever thought 12 foot force-proof stormtroopers were a good idea it can hardly get any worse.

Kinda redundant bringing back Starkiller, especially since his apparent death is what sparked the Rebel Alliance, thus kicking off the chain of events from Episode 4 onwards. Still, despite the first game being samey, I thought it was great fun. Can't wait for the sequel.

I heard that this takes place between Episode 3 and 4, so it's a prequel, in effect. Wikipedia says so anyway.

But how? The first sort of set his early life in stone. Be child, be grabbed by Vader....then the first ones plot.
Really, if you ask me, they should have used someone other than Starkiller this time. He was incredibly boring anyway.
Edit - And they should make a game based on HK-47 and only HK-47. Greatest Star Wars character ever.

You made my day! Can someone let me know when this is available to download? I rarely go on my 360 but will do to play on this as I did for Tatooine. I was waiting for ages for Wookiepedia to update the news thing saying that it was available to download. But they never. I checked google early November, and it had been available since August!!

Keep an eye on general gaming gab, people like Oak and myself who obsessively check feeds and the like tend to post big releases there in lieu of constructive discussion contribution.

if the second games going to be a prequel then it makes me wander why we're playing to two lightsabers now and if its a massive improvement then why did he sqitch back to the one and hold it like a dagger? its there going to be a point in the second game where he faces a jedi who cuts his hand off like in episode 2?

It's not a prequel.
He hears Junos voice in the trailer and remembers what Darth Vader/Sidious said to him. He wouldn't remember it if it didn't happen.

Well, we don't actively see his body destroyed. It's intact, just...lifeless. So I guess they could theoretically pull a "Yeah he survived" thing out.
It's still pretty mince though, to believe it.

It would be pretty difficult to have a prequel of a game where the protagonist begins as a child.

Starkiller force pushes his way out of his mothers womb, and as the level starts you're surrounded by Doctors and Medical Droids and you have to fight your way out.
I should sell my idea to Lucasarts!

It's still pretty mince though, to believe it. Not as mince as - Ewoks fighting the Empire and winning - The idea that the Empire got where it is by building robot walking tanks that can be tripped over by a bit of cable. THIS is why tanks in the real world are built to be low and have a massive centre of gravity. Vader should force choke the [censored] out of the Empire's R&D team - The whole exhaust on the Death Star thing; see above - People shooting lightning out of their hands - That level on Jedi Academy where Boba Fett pwns you throughout Anyway, I'm excited about this. Loved the first one.

Just completed the first one... can this one be out now please? God that was a good game.
Tempted to replay it all again in one night on the easy mode just to do the dark side final boss fight but I think I'll explore the DLC instead. I'm sure I'll want to replay it when I get back in a few weeks anyway.

Play the DLC. I enjoyed the Jedi Temple, but it's not great. Tatooine was really good, haven't played Hoth yet, as I'm trying to kill Kazdan Paratus on Sith Master difficulty and it's just not happening! But from what I've read of Hoth it sounds really cool!

At first I was like 'Holy [censored]. Those Stormtroopers - and Vader - are some of the best graphics I've ever seen. Better than the films.'
... and then I went '... what? Let the inept troopers kill him? Why are all subsequent troopers, with their ranged weapons, running towards the guy guy who is armed with short-range blades? WTF?'
Silly, silly trailer. Just give us Jedi Knight IV. ;_;
