Truthfully, you can dress however you want, just know that your character isnt all that recognisable, and his outfits arent very spectacular, no offence, so I doubt people would recognise you, even if you did dress up as him.
Might bring my Blaze wig this year, as opposed to that Silver costume I was in last time. Yes. That was me. The wig from that is tangled now and the Blaze outfit looks nicer anyway.
And Kiri, I bring my own stuff but I think there was stuff there last year for the art tables.

Yeah Kiri, there are a few things there to use but I'd suggest bringing your own stuff as it's pretty limited.

I'm pretty much going this year no matter what - past 2 years were missed due to work and trips so I'm determined this year will be the year I attend. Not sure if anyone still remembers me (bar the oldbies and Stiv lol) but I'm up for hanging out and generally geeking out the whole day. For drawing and stuff do we need to bring anything or will it all be there? If it's anything like last year there will be materials to draw such as paper, pens, colouring pens and colouring pencils. You might want to bring your own though if you're concerned about the quality of the materials.

There was some amazing art done last year. I wish I could draw like that.

Jesus Christ my ears! Edit: To actually make this post of any worth, I won't be going. Couple of things (namely university and an anxiety issue I'm having, nowt too serious) make this not worthwhile for me. Oh, and I'm a little strapped for cash. Bit disappointed, those figurines look great and I'd love to see Crush 40 live (aye, aye, shut up, I like 'em), but cons outweigh the pros for me. ...Why am I justifying this to you?

S'OK its no real problem, honestly. Just read a bit... loud. Anyways I'm derailing over posting etiquette so I shall take my leave, seeing as I am in another blimming country and can't make it to this shindig. *glares at everyone* I'm surprised Stu is going though, I thought he hated meeting Sonic fans in the flesh!!

I got over that brief dementia and now have no interest once again cos I remembered Sonic's crap and his fans are mental.

I'm now thinking that I must be mad for going to this, especially since Sonic fans have been routinely pissing me off with their sheer blithering idiocy.
Still, everything's booked and paid for, so I guess there's no going back now.

I don't suppose anybody is going from manchester as a group with any spaces? My brother and sister in law really want to go, but trains are just stupidly expensive, so are planes, and he doens't have a car right now.

Have you tried MegaBus from Manchester? If they even still run coaches from Manchester to London, that is... it takes bloody ages but they'll be cheap as chips.

Yeah, I use them all the time normally to go to london from derby, as they sell the only affordable tickets. Unfortuantly, they take 4 to 5 hours from manchester, and my brother still has to get from glossop first, and back. Its just too long, he'd have to get a coach about 4am to get there.

I'd love to go but, sadly, not this year for me. I can't afford it, mainly. And I know even if I could afford it (and the travel costs) I'd spend disgraceful amounts of money on merchandise. Plus, a part of me feels like it'd be kind of awkward. Surrounded by people united by their spiky overlord... I mean, I feel awkward enough in the comic shop with the regulars talking about Magic: The Gathering and how everything is "epic". I think it's just me coming to terms with not being a kid any more...

I've decided to show up early at around 8:30 hopefully. So I can help out with the STC-O stuff.
Nothing to do with getting the free goodies, lord no......

Lol, I have no idea what time Thalia and I are planning on getting there, but I believe that at the moment the day starts at stupid o'clock, with a crapload of coffee I don't care about the other freebies, but I WANT that Metal Sonic. He can be my poser Metallix's tiny brother :3 Also, I am intending to bring Kentish sugary cake, if I can find some. So if you're coming, look for the Bright Yellow Imagni Spy-Bag and I will give you some. Or a cookie, if Kent cake can not be located. Also intending to sell on the spot Sonic sketches for the low low price of a quid. (This is low considering my sketch commissions are about £10 normally...) This didn't go to plan last year, as I am a sucker for little kids asking for Please Pic of my Character plz :3 With BIG EYES at their first convention XD This will not work if you are not a kid. Adults have to pay. [/plug] Back on not plugging my stuff: While I'm not a fan of Crush 40, the Afternoon Tea accoustic session by Senoue has piqued my interest. I love accoustic. And food. This is a good combination. Oh dear, this post is longer than I intended. At the time of me posting this, there's just a few advance reg spaces left, from what I can tell on the website. So if you are planning on going, get there quick like.
