It's one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen.
Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren in particular were [censored]ing fantastic.
The only complaint is that it's a tad shorter than it should be. The film is of an average length, but the action doesn't drag on to the ridiculous extent that Die Hard 4.0 and the like do.
There is a fully automatic shotgun that blows up buildings, Sylvester Stallone climbs into a moving plane, the amount of things that explode is completely unnecessary, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren have a fight, Jason Statham is brutal, hardcore and badass throughout, Steve Austin catches fire and Terry Crews is a token black guy.
If you are an action fan you have no excuse not to see this.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. Sounds pretty epic, in the literal sense of the word.

I've read dire reviews, but I'll be checking it out regardless.

It's alright. The editing is [censored]ing awful and the action scenes themselves were shot with a camera that would make Cloverfield feel jittery.
That being said it's absolutely stupid fun and Steve Austin is lit on fire and punched in the face for almost no reason whatsoever.

Worst film I've seen in quite a while. Such a shame, with such an awesome cast.

I thought it was awesome. But then, when I was looking at the trailers I wasn't expecting anything more than mindless action with a thin plot to hold it together, and that's what I got.
I couldn't help feel that it was trying to parody itself at some moments and that just made it all the better, the sense that it wasn't trying to take itself too seriously.
It's not going to win any oscars but for an evening of mindless, insane action you can't go far wrong.
Also, "he wants to be President".

Saw it with Calisto, Metallix Brother, Studio Asperger and his friend Alan. I utterly adored it, felt like I was back in the 80's watching an action movie on screen. (not that I ever did that in the 80's...being 3)
The action was brutal, fast paced and (despite the over the top moments) had a little air of realism to it. Even when they were doing some pretty elaborate moves it had a nice hard air of them actually doing it. That I like.
Had those moments where you just laugh at how stupid it's being, like the AA-12 taking out buildings. Or when a baddy is set on fire then drop kicked for absolutely no reason at all. He was already dead!
I could go on and on. I do have one criticism though, it needed more cheesy one liners after big kills. Like after Li breaks the guys neck or when Stallone and Statham shoot and knife a guy at the same time. Surely they could have thrown in a daft one liner there? That would have cemented it's classic feel.
