This is pretty cool an' all. The details like the totem poles and Robotnik flying in in the background are awesome, although it looks a bit cluttered at points, with all the vines, etc. Still, a really good effort, and as much as I'm looking forward to 4, it still has a bit more graphical prowess, IMO.

it's impressive how some fans actually do a great job with these little fanmade games!!!

The more videos like that, the more the divide only seems to widen between "is" and "could have been."

I don't like the dingy colour pallette. Completely loses the charm of the pixel art. But I always say that.
Still better than Sonic "4".

Ah, I've seen that. It's truly amazing what fans can create that SEGA seem to be unable (or unwilling) to. The Eggsterminator mecha flying through the background was a nice touch, as were the Badnik explosions and their exhaust fumes.

That video never plays for me. I got that too, eventually had to record the page and download it to my desktop to view it.

It's a cluster[censored]. Way, way too much going on. I agree. I say this could potentially slow a PC to a crawl if it was the real deal. Certainly looks pretty in concept, but it wouldn't work in practice I think.

Linked for page stretch.I hate to say that I love this, it's too strong a word, but I actually would consider playing this, despite the overkill. The guy really needs to scrap some of the masses of vines, flowers and animated background things though. Too much of a detraction.

true.....but you can't deny that even the grafic of the Sonic colors trailer seems to be imbeatable!!!! Nowdays you can't have a Sonic game without grafic.... Sonic Colours looks a tad above average at best and a little below it at worst in graphical terms. Sega really aren't the onbringers of "unbeatable" graphics, not at all.
