From what I've read, they've spent an inordinate amount of time screwing their efforts up any which way and jeopardising the project.

Differences in opinion and other factors can cause that sort of thing, it's not uncommon. Alex and I's points still stand.

If I had a Mars Bar, and then went to the shop the next day, I'd still want a Mars Bar over a Crunchie. That is the most confusing analogy I've read so far this year. But I see where you're coming from. Also, VEA, I would hardly call the investment of several hours of unpaid spare time putting hard work into drawing together a full HD graphical overhaul lazy. That's a terrible thing to say. It's people with your attitude who end up demotivating people and bringing down productivity. They're just trying to make something nice for folks around the world to enjoy in their spare time. Criticise, certainly, but don't go accusing people of something they clearly aren't.

I don't mind remakes if they actually DO bring something new to the table and differentiate themselves. This is not doing that for me. I know a lot of people like this project, but I know a low of people see this as a lazy effort for three years of work, myself included
