Does anyone ever recall watching really interesting shows when they were young, but only remember seeing one or two episodes? Or how about shows that you can't remember the title of? I've recently recalled an old cartoon I saw on the Children's Channel (before they shortened it to TCC) that I found rather amusing, but for the life of me I don't remember what it was called! I do vaguely remember what it was about, though: it featured a very tiny person who lived in a matchbox (or the matchbox may have been his method of transportation, I forget) and got up to various antics at school that normal-sized people attend. That's all I remember of it other than the animation being rather crude with mostly plain or blank backgrounds. And of course, since I don't remember the title, I have nothing to go on for a Google search. Does anyone else remember a show like this? Or is it so obscure that it no longer exists anywhere but in my memory?

I just remember the intro, which was rad. It probably was crap, I don't really want to go back and check. I'm leaving that memory where it is.

I remember watching some CITV special day of sorts back in the 90s, which featured a massive "presenter swap" which gathered the presenters of various CITV shows of the time, drawing them out of something and assigning them to each show as it came, resulting in such combinations as then-How 2 presenter Carol Vorderman presenting an episode of Art Attack, amongst others that I can't remember. I seem to be the only person in existence who remembers this, though, can't find anything about it on the net at this time.

Go figure. In other news, Bitsa was amazing.

The animation was closer to Roobarb quality and also there was no dialogue or singing.

I used to think Insektors was rather obscure - no-one else seems to know what it is, anyway. Then I found out there was a US version which was closer to the original French version, and as such was more popular. Dang. The UK version was hilarious, the dialogue was "Britified" (there are references to Slough, the London Underground "all change, mind the gap!", the Chelsea Flower Show, etc...) and they all had ridiculous accents. (I <3 Fugg... the Witless Wonder from Welshpool!) The Diplomatik Bridge is one of the funnier ones (well, funny when I was 8 anyway! XD) The animation is a bit *cough* Kruddy but it was the early '90s!

I remember that really early on Channel 4.

Bloody hell, I remember that one as well. The joke I always seem to remember was another London Underground reference, when there's an earthquake and one of the characters quips "I don't think that's the 3:25 from Paddington!" or something along those lines.

Is London Underground the one where everyone's voiced by Jaleel White and London inexplicably wields a laser guitar?

I remember a CN show called Plastic Man. Oddly he was more like a rubber man, but whatever.

One cartoon which seems fairly obscure to me now was "Mr. Bogus". It was part-traditional animation, part claymation, and was about this small yellow fella who wore nothing but shorts, and did... well, I can't remember exactly what... in the regular-sized house that he lived in the walls of. The only distinct memories I have of it are the aforementioned animation styles and the theme song.
Something else I just remembered from Insektors; one of the characters sounded like Ringo Starr.

I remember seeing an episode of Plastic Man many MANY years ago. He was fighting some purple dude. That's all I can remember.
