This is pretty incredible, but it's a lot of text. Perhaps if it were colour coded it would be easier to see what fits in where?

Is this supposed to be a reading order or a chronology? You've got stories like "Sonic's World" before everything else, but then "The Origin of Sonic" (where the main action leads into part one of that story) just in its allocated slot of the release order, and of course part five of "Return of Chaotix" was set during the same period as was "Genesis" and a bit of "Elephant in the Room" which you've split to correspond with each story. And then there's stuff like "Bravehog" which is set in the past and "No Future" which is set in the future and all three stories from issue 255 which are all over the place in terms of chronology (does Blaze's story precede or follow the others?).

I guess it isn't a simple task. I would take issue with the notion that "Amy's Secret Past" or "The Trickster" are non-canonical. What, because there were inconsistencies? (I never saw what was particularly inconsistent about "Trickster".) Because some people didn't like them? (Never saw how "Secret Past" was worse than anything else that saw print around that period - in fact I enjoyed it a lot more than most of that Amy run at the time.) STC always had its ups and downs, and continuity was never watertight in the first place. Any wrinkles in continuity can be attributed to the Brotherhood of Metallix's dalliances in the timeline. Otherwise, if we're going to start de-canonising material that we don't like, I'd like to nominate the entire Millar run…

To answer Toms questions:

-They're all intended to be in chronological order, which is why stories like the first three Sonic's World stories, which deal with the early days of Mobius and how Robotnik came to power, are shown as taking place before "Enter Sonic".
-For "Secret Past" and "The Trickster", yeah I'll be honest, it was based around the inconsistencies. I personally don't have any problems with either of the stories, I just put the continuity of the two under question for the sake of clarity. (May I add, the idea that the stuff with the Matallix rewrote certain parts of the timeline, that's a pretty cool idea).
-I put "Bravehog" in its current place in the timeline considering it's literally Sonic telling the story from the present day. But you have a point, I'll go back and also put it earlier in the timeline under "Bravehog" (the Bravehog story) or something along those lines.
-Time travel stories are, for the most part, inserted from the point of view of Sonic, or any other present day character the story involves. Silver's story should probably be put further down. I'll fix that...
