I finally got it! Boo-yah, it rules ;D
So much swearing and a bit of gore. Nigel Kitching hasn't lost his story-making talent and if aone says Richard Elson's art is even on the edg of bad they might need to consider a brain scan.

It is official- A.H.A.B RULES! Richard Elson has never drawn so well. It looks so real! And Kitchings story, well...
Even Ellie De Ville, an ex-letterer for StC, is back!
And my bro gave me a mint Prog 220. Beat that. ;D

My uncle is selling a stack of... maybe around 200 2000AD comics I think... From a long time ago. The one I saw was dated 1987... I hope that this is the comic you were talking about. --Ray

There's only one 2000AD... even if the logo IS a bit covered up on the cover...

Even Ellie De Ville, an ex-letterer for StC, is back! Tom Frame, too. Isn't it ironic that they letter all the strips in this week's issue between them EXCEPT A.H.A.B.?

Annie Parkinhouse lettered STC at least once. I think it was a Stringer/Dobbyn story featuring Robotnik. Forget the plot, but it was around #96 or something like that.

"Mock the Doc".
I can't believe I actually remember her lettering that one.
I have even more trouble comprehending that you seem to know which letterer worked on each and every STC strip.
Although I can't help but wonder if any erroneous credit boxes (eg #147's "It's a Small World"; the entire #145) have fooled you...

I don't know all of them. Although I guess I could probably name more than I couldn't. But I wouldn't know the credits if it's anyone other than Potter, Fell, De Ville, Parkinhouse, Robson or Frame.
Oddly, I don't remember half of these stories that well now, but I reckon I could still guess a good number of the letterers.

Just picked up part 3 today, (late deliveries in Swindon, dammit...) Truly spectacular art, and the writing still has me hooked, waiting for the next part ^_^ Good work Nige & Rich!

Indeed, this A.H.A.B.'s turning out to be a wonderfully deranged piece of work, ain't he? I love his expression when he says " Nasty business." Superb cover too, natch.

Turning to the other strips for a mo, does anyone else find the "Savage" one hard to follow, art-wise? It looks very stylish, but most of the men look the same!

Near-impossible. It might have benefited from colour, but they don't go in for that on these "retro" strips.
Adlard draws nice pictures, but he ain't so solid on the storytelling side of things these days (must be all those years working with Grant Morrison). Pat Mills is a bit past it too, IMO.

Is there anything in A.H.A.B that in some way or form relates to STC's Planet Mobius?
