Hi!
It's simply un[censored]ingfathomable that this place is so dead that the brand new 2D Sonic game and a follow up to Generations hasn't been posted here, so:
True story: the hype is so real for these games that they're the reason I suddenly appeared here for the first time in apparently over a year. I know almost everyone else has buggered off into the great beyond of the real world too, but... [censored]ing srsly you guiz, a proper new 2D Sonic and a follow up to Generations!

Sonic Mania looks great, bags of potential. Bring it to PS Vita/3DS please.

YAY GAMES ARE GAMES!
Sonic Mania looks "what if we made a 2D Sonic game for the Saturn?" its a shame they spunked the Sonic 4 title on that thing.
Project Sonic looks ok. I guess. Kinda "how we should have done Sonic 2006".
Anyway. GAMES.

Mania looks utterly fantastic. And if the Generations sequel(?) is half as good as the previous one, then it should be a solid game as well.

I like the look of Mania, and if it plays like the old Sonics then I can't see there being a problem.
When I saw the 2017 trailer I got a little excited on the assumption that the game would be like Generations.
Then I went back and played generations for a bit (after spending a lot of time recently playing Sonic CD) and I didn't care for it. I got bored quickly and just shut it off, so I'm now less enthusiastic about it.

Given how Sonic and Classic are side-by-side, and they said it wasn't like Gens, maybe Classic's just in Sonic's stages.

Sonic Mania sounds fun, sadly the steam version was a "Always online" crapware DRM.
And yeah were is everyone? Using Beakbook? Maybe Flicker?
