It does indeed say that on the site, but the advert in last week's 2000AD claims otherwise. So it's worth a try

The form's still there, and nothing has been announced about the poll closing... so if you haven't already... it's at least worth a try!

The voting is definitely over; the votes have all been counted and the winners decided; results will be announced on Friday.

Madhair: And if Trev the Vampire wins I will sit under a swimming pool for 6 years. Hehe. You're funny, X3. So funny. So funny I [censored] out my stomach and I'm writhing in my own blood and faeces. I never said this comic was bad (It ain't), I merely said I would be surprised, after all it's (relatively) unknown. And I know my drawing is horrific, there is no need to take a dig at it.

Sorry, man. Easy to misinterpret your post.
I really don't think STC-O is eligible to win....
And yes, people worldwide know of it, but... it's not... WORLDWIDE known, per se.

Well, thanks to everyone's hard voting, STC online is a finalist in the awards Richard Elson is also a "finalist". The awards take place on Friday at 7:30 pm. Anyone working on the comic can get free entry to the awards ceremony, I think (bit annoying for me considering I don't get there until Saturday!).

I just checked more thoroughly and it's up against PVP, Dilbert and Fred the Clown. Good company indeed, but I think STC has an excellent chance!

Does being a Moderator on the forum, which is sorta a off branch of the main site, get you a place as well? *Is glared at and walks away*

So, if we win, do we get an award? And if so, can we get enough so the whole team gets one each? Mike

There's only one. I think Zak's going to collect it, seeing as he'll be around that night (and he's made such a great contribution to the series).
Maybe you could cut it into bits.

Thanks for the call, Tom. Crumbs! And I agree, if the comic does somehow win it (which does seem unlikely, admittedly, but I guess you never know), it seems right that Zak should collect it since he was putting out top notch art consistently throughout the nowhere years when it looked like the project might never fly, and he's still doing awesome stuff today. The long-standing Richard Elson figure of STC Online, if you will. Pain I won't be there to see it. Bigger pain I'll probably be cooped up in the library trying to cram for exams while this is all going down. And during the playoffs to add insult to injury. Bah.

Wow. that's great. But I must say, I am surprised. Since I wrote a review, can I get in free?
Sweet.

If anyone else from the creative team is about on the night, they're more than welcome to join me in collecting it (on the unlikely premise that we do win...) PM me and we can sort something out...
