Ok, off the bat, I never saw this special. Only the ads for it in StC. So to anybody who read it/has it, what was it like? and could you provide scans for it **LONGSHOT**

I have it! ;D It's very good, probably the best of all the "Specials". Can't provide scans, unfortunately, but I can offer a general rundown: "Power of the Lost Pyramid" - or something like that - is a 2-part story that deals with Nack's escape from hospital (after being injured by a Metallix in "Total Chaotix"). Chaotix head to the Floating Island via Omni-Viewer to get Knuckles' help in finding Nack. They find him in the Sandopolis Zone, where he's been at work with a shrinking device. He's used it to shrink the sand surrounding the pyramid that was sunk in "Countdown to Disaster", get in, and is shrinking the treasure so he can cart it off easily. The good guys stop him, and put him back under arrest. "Jake's Story" (or something like that...) an EggRobo infiltrates Mushroom Hill Zone, where the Emerald Hill folk are currently hiding, and apparently steals a kid called Jake to use as an organic battery. Knuckles pursues it to the Lava Reef Zone, and the robot is caught in a lava blast and destroyed, apparently killing Jake. Knuckles returns to the village, downcast at having to tell Jake's mother, but it turns out Jake was hiding in a cupboard the whole time. Really can't remember the name of this story - a magic mirror creates an evil double of Knuckles. They have a massive fight that trashes a fair bit of the Mushroom Hill village, then Knuckles lures Evil Knuckles into the mirror and smashes it. There were also some STC-related jokes (really bad ones...), a competition to win some Nigel Dobbyn artwork and a walkthrough to "Knuckles Chaotix". I think that was pretty much it.

I don't think so. There was also a guy called Steve White who did the beautiful Ecco artwork. I get the two confused.

All four stories were reprinted in #220-222.
The features were fantastic, but the strips were a bit of a let-down, considering what they did in the comics.
Mike White drew all four strips and he was also responsible for the artwork on both series of Golden Axe.

I've got a really bad copy that I bought from someone. It's being held together by almost a whole real of celotape. I'm also missing the middle pages, the ones with the interview between Sonic and Knuckles. I've only got the last 2 pages of it, can someone post the last pages of it and I'll try to scan some pages if anyones intrested.

*Rummles inside the digestive tin before the others slam the lid shut on his hand for not actually helping earlier*
That special was very good, I loved the reflections story, and fights that didnt involve Sonic or Knuckles or Shortfuse simlpy trashing badniks rocked, i.e big character on big character, they always tore the scene up (ala Sonic vs Metallix, geez wrecked almost the whole zone!)

I had this! I thought the interview was great, the twist at the end was funny.
And I entered the competition for the Knuckles soft toy. When I didn't win I bugged my mum to tell me if any of the women she worked with ever went to Japan so they could get me one, but they never did, damn them all. I saw the Knuckles one they released to tie into SA2:Battle and....well lets just say I'm sorry I lost the competition.....
