BE ON TV WITH SONIC! In this all new eye-toy game for Playstation 2! Sega Superstars sees the arrival of Samba the Monkey onto a Nex-Gen console as well as the returns of Virtua Fighter and Sonic the Hedgehog! Players will have to dance to Samba's beat, punch and kick Virtua Fighter stars and guide Sonic the Hedgehog round a giant, Sonic Heroes-esque pipe with their hands! This game promises to be one of the greatest eye toy games about, delivering an all new style of play to its already large artillary of features. It's unknown as to whether or not this game will see a PAL release at the moment. However, with Matthew Woodley, European marketing director, states this will be most probable, considering the popularity of the Eye-Toy in Europe. Despite some comments I have heard (Not naming any names), this is NOT a hoax. This has been officialy stated by Sega. Some screens of course, to wet thy appetite! This is the Sonic mini-game. Modelled in the background is Sega's very own Yuji Uekawa. Players control Sonic by moving their hands about the screen, their hands acting as Sonic. He must collect rings as he races down an ominous halfpipe at great speed. The more rings he collects, the more Chaos Emeralds he obtains. I will get some more screenys later. Thanks go to True Blue for information and Sega for making the game. -X 3

I'm guessing it is still around £20, the price of most of them.

That's really well photoshopped. I'm impressed. If it's fake as you're implying, then yes, it's a VERY good job.

Just found an article on this, you can find on sony.gamerfeed.com/gf/pr/6212/I won't C + P it, unless it's needed. But that's the press release anyway. Besides the information on Sega Superstars in the article is on the first post of this thread.

I agree with MadHair, there are wihite crop marks around the tunnel in the far distance and around the rings, but with the press release, it could just be marks the eye-toy makes! And about Uekawa, its easy to photoshop someones head onto a body!

Well, that does look a bit good. a bit good, what universe do you come from, it looks excellent, now if only there would be a game where you could create your own sonic character that would be cool.

*Imagines X3 in glorius 3D on City Escape*
That... Would... Be... A... Dream...
But, and I make this quite clear now, this is NOT a hoax. It has been affirmed by Sega, Sonic Team and many other reliable sources. Of course the game is in early beta, but it is going to happen.
If it was a hoax, I would've made it quite clear earlier.
