This may be a dumbass question that has been answered before and I realise I may be opening myself up to some serious newbie bashing, but do the artists and writers of the original STC know about and have seen the online version? If so, what do they think of it? Surely they must be proud that their work has affected some young people so much that they continue the comic after it had been pulled out of print? And to such an faithful extent!

Aye aye, Richard Elson and Ed had a long discusion over last Christmas' issue. Richard Elson was then added to the credits. And I know Nigel Kitching posts a lot on the StC Mailing List.

Well, the discussion on that front was about 'RBR', although I can't remember now if this was in its Sonic or Tails incarnation.
Anyway, yes, a lot of the creative staff have been very helpful. If you've been reading Speedlines, you'll have noticed Nigel Kitching, Nigel Dobbyn, Roberto Corona and Richard Elson sharing some comments and anecdotes.

All the STC creators the comic got in touch with have been real stars. Richard Elson in particular has supported the project from day one.
