£10 pounds to the person who finds a real word that rhymes with 'orange'! ;D Borange. Ask Madhair. I've forgotten what it means, but he patented it. Or not. Captain Plunder and his whole crew were great characters, especially Mr Scratchings.

I loved STC's warped idea of "cool"...
(say socially unacceptable words like 'radical' and 'man', lean on walls all day and put down everyone except you. I love it...)

As opposed to the NME's idea of cool; if their writers got to do a strip for STC, Sonic would be a rude crack fiend who dated models, claimed he was better than Brian Wilson and wore nothing but skinny ties and leather trousers while playing garage rock.

Did any one else think that the Echo The Dolphin Strips were boring? They didn't interest me one bit.

Ecco was a bit meh. To hell with dolphins, give me baseball-playing mutants, ninjas, Kid Chameleon, and 1920s catburglars duelling with Russian acrobats.

Echo bored me so much that I just ignored them after a little while.

Yeh, a bit but I liked the art...being obsessed with dolphins at the time....yknow...err..so yeh Mutant League! That kicked buckets of ass, did it not?! The problem with Ecco was there wasnt enough action, really. I did like the scenes on the Vortex world, what the aliens said was quite amusing!

All of the non-sonic stories were fantastic, especially Ecco and Kid Chameleon, all bar one.
Flamin' Decap Attack.
It was only funny the first time you read each strip, then it just plain sucked, every OTHER strip made I could read over and over and not get bored.

I've got a twin! ;D
I'm somewhat shocked! I've never met anyone who didn't like Decap Attack before. I must admit, when Nigel Kitching started sharing the writing duties (can't remember who with) it did drop in quality a bit, and I hated Mick McMahon's artwork, but the first ever Decap strip was mind-blowingly hilarious, all that deliberate cheesy humour made it even funnier.
Gotta admit though, I could never get into Mutant League myself.

I liked Decap Attack at first, but I went right off it when it became the only non-Sonic strip in STC.

lol, I didnt see anyone use that avatar till AFTER id chosen it - has been changed now cos I hate looking the same anyway (bah it was the best shot of Mighty as well)
Yeh the first and second Decap Attacks were amazing, but then it was just more of a "fill the comic space" thing to me, where we could have had more shinobi, golden axe, kid chameleon, streets of rage, rocket knight adventures (bah sparkster was the SEQUEL dammit) or hell, more of anything really (who wouldn't enjoy even more sonic per comic? as per its name se?
Mutant League wasnt to bad, but again, another 1 read wonder, as was Eternal Champions, that seemed a bit too "thrown together at last minute" in places, but the detail of the artwork in both of those was astounding (especially on the backgrounds etc)

At least it lasted more than “Sparkter” , it would be really weird if a Sparkter/Tails in the nameless zone crossover was made.

Except ol' Sparky is an opposum and Tails is a fox, but yeh that would be rather amusing.
I quite enjoyed sparkster, given that I owned both of the megadrive games then (and still do)
Pirate STC was hilarious, it was so bizzare it just deserved to be liked lol.

I didnt like Sparkster all that much tbh. I dunno it was a little too cheesy for my liking. I mean, a purty princess in pink being forced to marry an evil overlord? *yawn* That was original(!)

I actually thought Sparkster was an armadillo. O.o
You know, a real one. Not like mighty.
SEGA: It's an armadillo! Fans: Er... no. It's really not.

kaweahoaks.com/html/opossum.htmThere's photos and info about opossums there, horrible looking things yet Sparkster was so cute. Daaw. I've still got both the games on the Megadrive too, RKA beats Sparkster hands down. Back on topic...I wasn't keen on that one where Sonic was a human pretty much because of the way the artist had drawn him. I remember not liking a few strips because of the art o__0

O.K can someone please clarify for me what a Opposum is? Do you mean Possum? I have heard both terms before, I think its the same creature. Posssuuummsss"What happened to you, Whats Her Face?" *is mangled* "I met a possum."
