Anyone here watch Beyblade? I've only been watching it for a few months, I started watching it at the end of the Asian tournament I think it was, where Ray faced the guy Lee I think his name was- his old White Tiger buddy. I'm now addicted to this and although I know what happens can't wait to see the results of Kai Vs Brooklyn, Tyson Vs That weird guy who punches and kicks when his beyblade attacks , and Tyson Vs Evil Brooklyn. To decide the fate of BEGA.

Kai's okay, but otherwise I think Beyblade is the worst TV series ever. I mean, all this "dedicate your life to beyblading" nonsense is pathetic.

I used to watch Beyblade, until I realised it was crap. On top of that, my brother tried to form a Beyblade team in real life. SAD.

Lol. After the whole Pokemon card craze when I was in year 7, (Jesus 5 and a half years ago!! ) I doubt I'd ever get anything toy related to the cartoons I watch lol. I still have my Pokemon cards lol. Btw for any retro-pokemon fans, does it annoy you that when advertising new games the man who does the voice for the advert still says 'Pockomon'

That's how it's pronounced. If I say so it must be true.
See, Beyblade is pants, but Pokemon rocked.

That's how it's pronounced. If I say so it must be true. I always thought it was pronouced 'Poh-keh-mon'? (Perhaps we should make a Pokemon thread at some point)

Well that's how it was pronounced on the theme tune, and the Pokerap lol. I'm ashamed to say I watched retro Pokemon the other day, and found my self singing along to the Pokerap lol.

and found my self singing along to the Pokerap lol. ... ... ... *slap* "Pockomon" - the short way of saying Pocket Monsters. But it's Poke-ah-mon or Poke-ay-mon in the west. Highly off topic.... My friend has a Beyblade plastic arena thing. Highly tacky. I had a good mind to stand on it.

Uh, Dave, are you being sponsored to say "lol" or something? Anyway, Toonami rocks, apart from the likes of Beyblade. It's so STUPID, all this "these plastic spinning tops with spirits inside whom you've got to worship" naffness. AIEEE! Did anyone notice some Beyblade rip-off that was around for a short while? It featured vehicles (I think) that were fired from launchers and span round in dish-like arenas. No wonder it died out so soon...

I actually really like this anime, sure its spinning tops.
But aint Yu-gi-oh and Duel Masters (RUBBISH!) just cards? And other anime's as well.
But Beyblade is a truly awesome anime, jaw droppingly well drawn at times and with great action and music.
The first series was great, second I admit sucked badly.
But the third one, the final one is just astounding. The drawing skills went through the ROOF towards the end. And the final episode, so many lovely themes.
*melts of enjoyment*

Ok, although I'm a fan of this, I thought the last 2 episodes went over the top. Brooklyn creating an alternate dimension in his mind where practically everyone was? And him and Tyson being able to fly? Weird. Rubbish ending though IMO. It's all happily ever after, Kai Vs Tyson in a friendly, although Kai said 3 or 4 episodes back that he's giving up blading.
