"Location: Earth. Lifeforms detected! EXTERMINATE!" It had a pilot episode to test the water, and they decided not to go ahead with it, which is fortunate for us as it had one of the worst theme tunes ever. What did it sound like? A variation of the Sooty and Co theme? Hey, ho, it's K-9 and co..*shudders*

Finally, a good episode of Dr Who. From next week's preview, it looks like Rose's dad is the new cyber-controller.

I hope it's a kind of bizarre fusion between Trevor Nelson and Keith Chegwin.

Just a thought.
Wouldn't it be fun if the next series, or at least a few eps of it, focused on an interstellar war on Earth?
I could imagine it in some ways as the time The Doc worked with UNIT. I'd say it'd also help with the switch between companions as it'd be easier for him to pick someone up in the middle of a war, fight alongside them and then offer them the chance to fly off into time and space with him.

I only got to watch it today when a friend of mine downloaded it. I thought it was damn scary when those Torchwood workers were led to their doom and had their heads bored in to... ouch. And YAY! I was wrong! There were Daleks! But I'm very curious as to what that machine was that they brought with them?

I'm under the impression its some sort of cloning machine, as the title "Genesis" implies its going to bring about the 'genesis' of the Dalek race. Just a thought, mind. It's definately not Davros, however, as Davies has expressed not liking him at all.

Well, Davies is a silly bugger coz Davros rocks.

Just watched the ep again and the reason the Psychic Paper failed is because Jeresh or whatever his name was had a basic Psychic level meaning to him it was blank where as to a non- Psychic it would appear. Oh and Devo I believe that the Dr called it a Void ship a ship designed to pass through the Void of 1 Parralell universe to another. I have this feeling that the Genesis will probably be destroyed next Ep and if Mickey is back perhaps this means he will take Roses place. Also I have to say the Eastenders Cameo was great ;D Peggy: Now you listen to me Den Watts I don't care if you have returned from beyond the grave...The only Spirits I sell are Gin,Whisky and Vodka now get out of my pub! Also you have to feel sorry for that woman on Trisha...She thought she married a ghost but it turns out she married a Cyberman dun dun duuuuuuuun! Id hate to see there kids

Genesis Ark.
Anyway, I've just had a thought. When the Daleks begin racking up a Cyberman kill count, are we going to see the Cybermens' circuitry when they get exterminated? That'd be great.

Just so you all know, John Barrowman said he wont be appearing in Season 2, some people had hopes for him being in the next episode. Shame he isn't.
He said he's defintely in Season 3 though, and through Torchwood we learn a lot about Jack and his character is darker, but still has his humour and wit.
Said a lot of other stuff too.. but not relevant to Doctor Who lol.

My money's on the Daleks. Imagine how much fun the World Cup would be if all the teams were made of Doctor Who villains...

There are four Daleks, one of which is a Black Dalek, and droves upon droves of Cyberman. Thus, the answer is somewhat obivous;
The Cybermen don't have a [censored]ing hope in the world.

Remind me, what is the significance of a Black Dalek? Is it some kind of uber-Dalek?

The Black Dalek as far as I know is the Leader of the 4 Daleks.
Something just popped into my head what if this Genesis Ark opens up the hole in time even bigger and more Void Ships arrive = MORE DALEKS W000000000000000000T
Also I read somewhere that Rose has to die to save the world (Bad Wolf again anyone?)
If she erases the Daleks and the Cybermen again I will feel CHEATED!!!

I imagine the Cybusmen would just get chucked back to their own dimension. Unsure about how they'd dispatch the Daleks, however. They can't utterly erase them again, they'll have to have something new for this occassion.

Just thought I'd throw this in, but about 2 years ago, a guy at school put on a Dr. Who stage show, called "Return of Rascillon" and he managed to get 3 Darleks from the show, one of which was signed by Tom Baker.
I got to ride around in it during rehearsals ;D
I was the stage hand and art director, and built a TARDIS, did most of the background art, and some other bits and pieces (such as building a state of the art "computer" from the 23rd Century out of cardboard)
Dunno HOW I forgot I did this.......
