That'd be hard. What with them now being extinct and all. I've also noticed I'm a lot less tolerant of Rose's moping this time around I wasn't tolerant the first time. I think I was the only person happy to see Rose go.

I wanted to see the back of her too by the time she left. She was a good character who was very effective for most of her time on the show, but then she got all smug about her adventures and infected the Doctor with this as well.
The Doctor should be enigmatic, relatively emotionally detatched from his human allies and maybe slightly mentally unhinged.

Yes indeed. All of their protein planets were apparently wiped out during the Time War, and the Nestene Consciousness seems to have been destroyed by the Doctor's anti-plastic.

Christmas Invasion got repeated just now. So we can all see once again that Harriet Jones was right and the Doctor was a complete git. Damn right that really pissed me off the first time round, apparently it was just because the wanted to write her out as the actress wouldn't be available to play her next season if they wanted to go back to present day earth next season, or something like that. I hope next season the new companion doesn't insist on going back and seeing her family every other episode so we can get away from earth a bit more. I'm really not all that fond of the present day earth ones.

Arachnophobes look away now: Apparently that's all anamatronics - I hope it's going to look awesome when it moves

From what I've been told about past series of Dr Who, once you hopped in that Tardis there was a good chance you'd never see home again. Yet Rose got to back whenever the hell she liked.
...why?
And yes, I hope we don't get that in Season 3.

Seems to be suffering from a case of poor dental hygiene too. Too many humans cause plaque, or so I'm told.

Good special, and better than last year's, but the biggest point of contention, for me, has to be the final clip of the preview.
A) Dalek (and the black one) B) In Torchwood?
I seriously hope that isn't the next series finale, i'll cry.

It was better than last year. This time around we see the Doctor callously standing and watching as he wipes out the villains. It was a bit like the episode with Patrick Troughton in which he is prepared to experiment on his human friends on the chance that it will 'water down' Dalek aggression.
One more thing.
DALEK SEC!
I only hope that he managed to save an adequate number of his soldiers to make his appearance seem impressive rather than overkill.
Did we ever find out what happened to the ten thousand strong Dalek army that was left in suspended animation on Spiridon by the Jon Pertwee Doctor? It would be interesting to see what's become of them.

Not as good as last year and the Christmas elements felt forced, but two things bug me the most:
a) More bloody Daleks next year.
b) Donna doesn't know Earth was invaded by the Sycorax, Cybermen and Daleks. I don't give a crap if she was hungover last Christmas, because she'd still know BECAUSE PEOPLE WOULD HAVE TOLD HER AND IT WOULD BE ALL OVER THE DAMN NEWS. Same again with the Cybermen/Dalek Invasion, only more so because THE ENTIRE PLANET WAS OCCUPIED AND COUNTLESS NUMBERS DIED. Scuba-diving in Spain? Doesn't matter, because Cybermen would've been around the resort she was at.
For [censored]'s sake Davies, STOP DOING THIS. Stop having incredibly big, public invasions with no secrecy and which are hinted as a big deal, and then having EVERYONE AFTERWARDS act like they never happened. It makes humanity look thicker than a Big Brother contestant. And if we're that thick, that undermines all the "yayz humanity lolz!" speeches the Doctor does and why the Doctor hangs around with us. YOU SUCK, DAVIES.

Ah, Doctor Who- once again proving why it's so much better than Torchwood. Good special, and better than last year's, but the biggest point of contention, for me, has to be the final clip of the preview. A) Dalek (and the black one) B) In Torchwood? I seriously hope that isn't the next series finale, i'll cry. Yeah. Despite my constantly saying 'No more Daleks' I still however whooped when I saw Sek. ^_~ (At least, I'm assuming its him) It shouldn't be the finale. Shouldn't.

Uh, I think the whole point of that was taking the piss out of the fact it's been written like that in the past - not just to add to it.
