uhh
-Ghost In The Shell (actually...did the film or comic come first?) -Ghost World -X Men and X2 for no particular reason other than I like the X Men fanchise in general. I would say Metropolis but I'm sure it was based on a novel, not a comic book..

The manga did indeed come first for ghost in the shell. The anime Metropolis is based on a manga by Osamu Tezuka from the fifties, that manga was based on Fritz Langs film.

Oh, that's what I was thinking of. The Fritz Langs film was based on a novel.

As this thread seems to have become the superhero movie casting rumour mill, I will use it to proudly proclaim that... *Drumroll* Kelsey Grammar has been announced as Beast for X3. After the shock wears off he actually seems to be quite a good choice. Never heard of him. I'm surprised Beast wasn't in the first 2, he's a popular character! Also, the people were looking to cast Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut a couple of weeks back. Not sure if they did or not. Am I the only one that doesn't feel the need to see the Fantastic Four? It doesn't really appeal to me.

Kelsey Gammar was Frazer in, um, Frazer, he's also the voice of Sideshow Bob. I love the Fantastic Four, but the producers apparently dont, the trailers show no sense of cosmic scale, it just looks like they put the characters in a spiderman, superpowered villian has a strop in the middle of new york, situation. Wheres Galactus huh, wheres the Kirbyness!

To Dave, I think:
Beast was in X-2, I think, in a news report...about something. XD
I'm sure I vaguely remember him or something with his name and possibly his appearance.

Actually that rings a bell now you mention it Arch. I'm so annoyed. I've been following the Spiderman & X-men cartoons on Jetix. And the Spiderman one was on the first series, I MISSED THE FIRST VENOM EPISODE! So annoying, because whenever it was on in the 90's I didn't have an alarm clock to wake up and watch it. And I missed part 2 of the X-men episode where Storm & Wolverine are a couple in an alternate time, and Professor X has to be saved. What happened after the room he was in exploded? God. So annoyed. Also, quick comic book question. Do the X-men ever beat Apocalypse? And if they do beat him (I mean for good), how do they do it?

Well from what I read of the comics so far they beat Apocalypse when him and Cyclops became one and when they came apart Cable destronyed Apocalypses soul but he's going to come back he always does. I am looking forward to the Fantastic Four film and I think the storys going to follow Ultimate Fantastic Four, but I could be wrong. Oh and I'm also looking forward to Batman Begins and Sin City they both look great. And there are a number of comic book games coming out afew are Ultimate Spider-man, X-men Legends 2, Batman Begins, Fantastic Four and The Incredible Hulk:Ultimate Destruction.

He looks like a walking piece of *ahem*. I'm so annoyed right now. For literally years since I was like 11 I've been trying to catch 1 little story of Spiderman, the alien suit (Venom) 3-parter. And I missed the first part the other day, I managed to tape the second part yesterday, but this morning part 3 never came out! It's like I'm destined never to watch what happens.
