Muscle Museum's pretty good. I always think it sounds a bit like Greek music when it begins, before the heavy beat of the song really kicks in.

Absolution is a phenomenal album, but above all else, above all the epic songwiriting and the ability to carve a beautiful song, I love them for the collosal riff on Stockholm Syndrome. You just cannot headbang hard enough to do it justice ;D

I saw them at the MEN Arena in Manchester back in 2003 and they were simply awesome. I still can't believe how good they were live.
New Born has to be my favourite Muse song.

SQUEALS WITH DELIGHT!!!
My fave band (well occasionally, my "fave" band tends to fluctuate with mood, current events, blood alcohol level etc!) so I dunno why I hadnt started a thread on them. Neways as much as I love Absolution and would probs agree it is their best album, I prefer Origin of Symmetry (or as a friend on the olde Muse messageboard put it, Orange in a Cemetry!) because its so over the top and has a lot of classical influences in it. I especially admire Space Dementia for this and my fave Muse song of all time..in the world...ever...*insert compilation album cliche here*....Citizen Erased! W00T! oh oh...and I did see them live last in December 03 for the Absolution tour. Matt had a light-up Piano!! haa! and it rocked ARSE!!!

I love Muse. Not a fan of their first album (apart from Sunburn, Cave and Muscle Museum), but everything after that is brilliant - I saw them at Glastonbury last year and by the end of the set I was crying my eyes out (and Nirvana - I went to the MEN gig too!). As a pianist I'm always interested in bands with keyboard players (I'm also a Tori Amos fan) and Matt Bellamy is a genius, I can't believe he's self-taught! Jammy git! My favourite songs: Stockholm Syndrome Execution Commentary Newborn Hyper Music Time Is Running Out Cave And they are NOTHING like Radiohead.
