I agree, that's why I put "perhaps". His writing has become repetitive, frustratingly lovey-dovey, and filled with stiff, awkward and badly pulled off jokes. The others up there are masters of their art, though - Robert Jordan and Robin Hobb of writing, and Terry Goodkind of Propaganda.

I'm a big fan of Raymond E Feist and Terry Brooks these days, myself. I've been meaning to give Robert Jordan and Robin Hobb a try at some point as well.

Robin Hobb's Assassin trilogy was one of the, if not the greatest achievements in Fantasy of the 90s.
Currently reading: Medea, by Euripides

Kino No Tabi: Book One Of The Beautiful World. I can only describe it as Gulliver's Travels meets The Motorcycle Diaries. But It's utterly fantastic.

The Great War For Civilisation: The Conquest Of The Middle East by Robert Fisk.
He's the Middle East correspondant for The Independant and he came into my university to give a talk today, which was excellent, I might add, so I bought his book and he signed it for me. Not started reading it yet, but if its anything like the talk, its going to be a great read.

Re-reading Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot. It's better than I remembered, actually! Plus I have now dreamt about vampires for five days in a row.

Plus I have now dreamt about vampires for five days in a row. Count yourself lucky last night I dreamt I was a female comics blogger, that'll really screw you up... Reading Cerebus High Society by Dave Sim, as it seemed to make some twisted sense to read a book by a the king of all misogynistic [censored] rags right after a book on on the appalling hardships and gang raping of women in China. In my defense it is early Sim before he went completely into the realms of 'female void and Male will' territory...

The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger. Undecided whether I prefer the book or the film.

"Twilight Of The Idols" & "The Anti Christ" by Nietzsche.
A fascinating tome regarding his views on "morality" and religion.

Finished Jane Eyre (very good, but the whole bit with St. John seemed tacked on), and am now reading Haruki Murakami's Norweigan Wood (absolutely excellent thus far).

I've recently been reading various essays on Richard Wagner. Not for fun, but because I have to do an essay on him.

I've almost completed The Eye of the World and am preparing to move on to The Great Hunt and then The Dragon Reborn.
However I may take some time out from the Wheel of Time series to concentrate on The Curse of Salamander Street by G.P Taylor. I believe that it serves as the sequel to his Shadowmancer, his first book.
