I have several pre-installed lists to load onto my mp3 player, so I can pick one a week.
This one isn't very ecclectic. In fact, it's mainly metal. But it has a tiny bit of the following chucked in. Rock/new wave/electronic/drone/country/punk/industrial/classical/grindcore

My mp3 player's only 512mb, so I change the music a lot. I normally always have at least one Dream Theater album and some Sonic music.

My MP3 player is my mobile phone. Which only has a 512MB card in it. I did, however, manage to squeeze all the Offpsring Albums (The Offspring, Ignition, Smash, Ixnay on the Hombre, Americana, Conspiracy of One, Splinter, Greatest Hits), all the System of a Down albums (System of a Down, Steal this Album, Toxicity, Mesmerize, Hypnotize) and all the Disturbed albums (The Sickness, Believe, Ten Thousand Fists) on there. So it's not all bad.

*Thread revival* ; I know it's been 4 years since it got started, but some of you may have changed your bands/MP3 players since then. I'm still waiting for my Zen X-Fi to come through the post, won't be till Tuesday, then I'll be posting mine. Hate me if you will, but other threads are getting boring.

Thread bumping like this is just plain pointless, especially as you pointed out that you don't even have an MP3 player yet. This thread is 4 years old, as you mentioned. Why did you see the need to post in this? Other threads are boring? That's not a good enough reason. So damn tempted to lock this, but others may be interested.
4 years...

Just make a new thread, Ringo. New threads keep the forum moving. Good suggestion Stu, but I was thinking about forum cluttering, but then on the other hand, I could create a new thread, then Cal could do her good will and lock this one.

Good suggestion Stu, but I was thinking about forum cluttering, but then on the other hand, I could create a new thread, then Cal could do her good will and lock this one. No, because if you created a new thread, this one wouldn't have been resurrected.
For someone as close to the perma-ban hammer as I am, I really don't want to be the one who calls you out on this, but seriously, you need to think before you post. And this goes for every post. Almost all of your posts contain little to no information that could spark any sort of discussion, nor do they contain anything of significant interest for anyone to learn something they care about.
Being bored because other threads don't interest you doesn't mean you should just post for the Hell of it, because it creates the same problem for other people- these threads and posts don't interest anyone else.
I've said it before and I'll say it again- post because you have something to say. Don't post because you feel you have to say something.

On my iPod at the moment, it's generic rock music. The Who, Thin Lizzy, Lynyrd Skynyrd, stuff like that.
Later on I might put some kind of generic third wave ska music on it. Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, Save Ferris, stuff like that.

My MP3 player came this morning, but when I sold my Archos, I cut and pasted the files somewhere to my local drive and I can't remember where I put them. I'll find them and post them up later.
