Uh, we're not actually accepting submissions for writing at present. Sorry, Dark, but they take a long time to read and we've already got several people on staff who have stories they'd like to tell.

We're accepting for art, not writing. Or not at present.
The reason is this: art takes a lot longer. If you figure a page a month from an artist, you need at least eight artists. Writing on the other hand needs to be pretty consistent -- you don't want too many different people pulling the story in different directions. It started with Dave, Mike and myself. Dave left fairly early on, but there are also artists and people already familiar with the project that are interested in writing. So in reality, we have quite a number of interested writers even before we start bringing in people who might have their own radical ideas.
Of course, we'll have to wait and see how it goes.

Is that just a "no writing" for the sonic stories? Are you willing to accept writing from people on other sega game storys. there fore not putting your sonic continuity at risk?

I'm going to try and Kick some ideas together for non-Sonic stories, but as for actual Sonic fics, I guess I'll have to wait for the future when you, Ed, finally take me on board.
Yes. I'm very confident. Beats being negative.

Hades: Yep. Although do bear in mind that we'll also need an artist for this. Occasionally in the past we've had pretty good scripts but no artist.

How would you know what kind of friendship Kitching and Elson have?

I can draw but I can't scan! And mouse art looks rubbish. Severe irritation.

y'know, i've always found Tails the hardest to draw. I don't think i've ever done a drawing of him i'm 100% happy with.
