Hi hows it goen i'm Bazuka T. I usually hang out at video game flash related forums such as VGDC, VGR, TXmafia or Razoric but this class site just caught my attention, because of the simple fact that I flipen love all things Sonic and sonic the comic mag is among my foundest childhood memories (good to see someones still keeping it alive ). The Art work in this mag is great too and on par with the best drawings from the ol true sonic the comic, So to start with I wanna say Fair play to the creators for trying to keep this great mag alive. And i'm Irish BOOya! One thing though I always thought that there was only 120 or so issues, but you say there was 200+ ?!! So I was wonderen is there a site where I can download ALL the sonic the comic issues. The main reason behind me looking these is because I am a VERY TALENTED ARTIST(not to get all big headed but.... I am) but i'm more of a copying artist meaning i'm much better at copying pictures than drawing from my head. This ain't to say i'm bad at drawing from my head its just I need to really no how to draw a character off by heart before I can draw from my head to make it on par with my copying skills. So can anyone help me out ;D

Heh, I think most people are better at copying, because the artworks there in front of you, you don't have to fish it out of your mind, all the proportions and details are already there.

There were over 200 issues, but most were reprints and aren't worth a second glance really. I used to be able to draw, left it behind though in order to write. ;D Would love to see a pic of yours.

Thanks I've got alot of Sonic pics lien about that I drew, i'll try to submit a load once I get myself a new scanner( my old scanner aint compatible with me new PC.) n LanDiSama yeah your right man, I think it takes alot of learning to be able to draw a character from multiple points of view and get the enatemy right. Thats the main thing i'm working on now, getting my drawings of enatemy right i.e hands fists knuckles feet... well pritty much all body parts apart from the head. The last issue of sonic comic I read was either the brave heart inspired one or the one which ended with a pic of metal knuckles. I'd like to see all the issues I missed though, I started collecting from issue 40+ to 120... I think, man it was that long ago. On another point whos the boss man of this forum anyways?

There were over 200 issues, but most were reprints and aren't worth a second glance really. Um, it was mostly original actually. Reprints began as 1/4 of the comic from #133-155, then became 3/4s from #158-184. It was exclusively reprint for thirty-nine issues after that, at which point it was discontinued.

Not to take a jab at you or anything but I've always believed real artistic talent is what comes from the imagination. It's cool to use reference material to check the look of something but if you're just copying someone elses picture, that's not really what I'd call real talent. As someone said before, almost anyone can do that. But hey, curious to see what you've done.

Noob looks towards his banjacsed Scanner, and sighs. I'm working on getting a new scanner. but the reason I use sources to copy from is cause i've had little experience with drawing cartoons, especially japanese anime so sure I need something to relate to, but once I learn the basics of drawing a certen thing I usually start an original version of my own. Oh yeah I made this yesterday with the help of the tutorials you guys gave me for Photoshop Its kinda hard to make out but its a liquified Sonic, eh just posted it for the sake of it.
