heheh.. I thought it would be interesting to see everyone's opinions on what will happen in the next issue of STC-O before it is released. post your wacky ideas, theories, etc. here.
As we saw in the last issue, sonic and tails managed to escape from the death carrier on some sort of hover scooter. Personally, I can picture them falling, landing on a sloping hill and making their way down it a-la City Escape.
what about you?

I have a funny feeling that the next Sonic story won't follow directly on from this one...

I think Lew had some interesting ideas regarding the humans, but I'd only use them if I felt sure the story could be pulled off. At the time of writing this hasn't happened. In fact, we've tried to keep a wall up between the Nigel plots and the Lew plots (which roughly correspond to the stories I write and the stories Mike write).
Turbo, it's funny you should mention City Escape. When I wrote "The Syndicate", screens from that game had just been released and I described the Vichama chase scene from part 1 as possibly being like that level in style -- Sonic hurtling at the viewer, chased by a massive machine.
And yeah, the next Sonic story is a rather bizarre comedy from the brain of Corker. I always suspected he was mad, but since his #230 script I've had bars fitted on my window just in case he comes for me in the night. You can never be too careful...
#231 is another complete, featuring the return of Chaotix. It'll function a bit like The #134 Chaotix story did. Both stories have great new artists doing the honours.

Well we don't release them when we're finished so much as on a schedule. Not that we always work successfully in advance, but...
Anyway, I'm hopeful the next issue will be out in two or three weeks.

I can't wait... And Ed, NO HUMANS! In reality, Sonic Adventure 1/2 was placed inside Sonic X, so thats why the humans are there and why Sonic X had Adventure "Spin-offs".

i don't think we should have any humans, besides, sonic went to earth before and he hated it, and every time there was humans in issues, well, they were never classic stories, perhaps with teh exception of that guy trying to take over and a storm took them back to earth and destroyed the machine.

Well I won't introduce humans to satisfy SA2, that's for sure. (I hope people don't expect some fully blown adaptation. The Shadow story will probably be about as close a SA2 adaptation as Nigel's run was a SA adaptation. Plus, like Nigel, I've never actually finished the game in question... of course, he'd never played it in the first place).
Anyway, I think there may be a place for a human story eventually, just to prove that it can be interesting after all. But it's not going to happen this year or next.
