OK, I like doing stuff like this. Why? Anyway, what is *Drumroll* the greatest... Ever... Issue of... SONIC THE COMIC!?!?I don't have a personal favourite, not now anyway, since it was a mumoveride on my comics. MUM UNIT 1: IF COMICS ARE STREWN OVER FLOOR CHANGE MOVEMENT TO ANGRY AND DESTROY COMICS But one of the ones I spared was 119- so that's my favourite!

I think this was somewhere else as well Anyway mine's 100 because it was so epic and all the stories linked together so it was a 4 parter story in one issue

#182. The back-ups were pretty good too if I recall, but the lead was "War of the Worlds" which as far as I'm concerned is an awesome story. In seven pages there were three massive cliffhangers, two large panels, some awesome art, some answers to old questions, some new questions posed, some wonderful characterisation for the guest stars and basically just an amazing tale all round. Perfect.
#97, #171 were also particularly strong. The #60s and #70s were very strong as well. #146 brings back memories for various reasons.

no favourite issue but my favourite stories are:
Total Chaotix The Brotherhood of Metallix Return of Chaotix Running Wild Heroes and Villians Victims Doomsday The Final Victory The Evil Empire Coming of Chaos - Point of No Return (I think those were the story names for the chaos saga... basically the whole SA arc)
I've probably missed a few out, but these are the stories that spring to mind.
oh! and the first brutus story... wish I could remember what it was called.

id have to go with 128 where robotnik is a god and made it so sonic never existed. I loved that whole arc.

I forget the exact issue, but the brotherhood of metallix one where they meet kintobor and the resistance on the metallix-ruled mobius! Absolutely incredible art!

Damm its hard to pick, I'd agree that Issue 100 was cool. But still have to go with the Sonic terminator part 2, just for that awsome shot of Metallix coming out of the sky in a full page spread, awsome ;D

i never saw that 1... but I dout there is a 'best' issue as they are sperd over parts. made to pick the best story id say the chaos saga. by this stage the artists had got so good they focoused on improvements to back-round chaos appearance etc. the result was amazing and mouthwatering. and I still have a hard time drawing sonic. if you walk up to nigel kicking and ask him to draw sonic, id bet he'd do a superb piece which no1 would ever match in 5 seconds flat... my other favorite was the brother hoods return to attack the mirical plant with all the freedom fighters underground... truely amazing. and the fake sonic bomb *falls over lauging at looks of horror on metalixs faces* and yes they had wide eyes and all

Uh, Nigel didn't draw the Chaos Arc, he wrote it. The artist was Richard Elson.
