What do you think has been the best free gift they have given this year? I think it's the Chain Chomp Beach Ball at the moment. Kiel

I rather liked the Magnets!
Smash Bros Concert and Chain Chomp are joint best.
Paper Mario mousemat also kicked arse.

Worst gift? Can't think of any, few are pretty good. Others aren't bad.
Though the best gift they've released is most definately the DVD with Prime 2 footage! I spent 2 days drooling all over it. I now seriously think Echoes is going to be in Top 3 Games of the Year. Anyone who disagrees will stare at Chovi's bottom.

The gang at NOM are all Nintendo Fanboys, sad but true. The reviews for every Nintendo game are silly and biased, they let any flaw slide. Unlike with Sega games, in which case all they do is nitpick and strive to find even the tiniest flaw. Pathetic.

What me and Dan Baxter once found out was that Sonic Heroes and FF:Crystal Chronicles were being reviewed on the same mag. Both games scores the same points for graphics and sound etc. The lifespan on FF:CC was lower but in the end FF:CC scored 86% and Sonic Heroes scored 6% less than that!! Pure. Biased. People. Kiel ^_^

I agree, Sonic Heroes isn't worthy of 81%. Overrating every flipping thing.
But seriously, I'd rather play an awesome game that lasts two hours than a terrible game that lasts for months.

Does NOM do percentages now? I thought they did all their scores out of 10... If you want a SLIGHTLY less biased mag, get CUBE.

NOM aren't THAT bad. At least they're a bit more mature then PSMax, where they have a mascot which [censored]s everywhere around the mag. What is funny about a dog who's always leaving his turd behind? Nothing.

Last issue I saw there was no sign of the dog.

Yeah, i'm fairly sure the mag's gone. Max died about the time it became a PS2 mag.

I thought that NOM was great, but they do have a strong bias, its not a shock really, the better Nintendo, the better the chance of them keeping their jobs. ;D But the best games are all Nintendo ones, sure that might be the case, but there are many they underate. I try not to look to much at the scores, and focus on what the game is about, if that sounds good and it supports my own idea about the game I go out and buy it. (If I want it of course) the prices are crazy, they change up and down every week, I get to the counter and always hope I have enough, I cant even see the price normally as its hidden under the wrapper...very snecky
