*dances* You wait so long for one game, and then when it arrives.............you just don't know what to say. Tomorrow morning San Andreas hits UK stores. I'm getting up at 8am. I'm looking forward to tomorrow more than I am my own birthday (and that's my 21st!). Let's get some excitement flowing, from the people who care. Let's get some beer! Join me in a Mexican wave! It'll be awesome! We'll start the conga line here -------------->> !

This game just looks so friggin’ good! This evening I am going to be camping outside my local Game store and waiting till it opens, and occasionally banging against the window and moaning in a kinda Zombie style.

Is your local Game having a midnight opening then? Or are you just camping overnight?

*Graps handgun* Haha! You might as well just get up early and go, though, unless you haven't preordered, or if you live a long way away.

The game got really good ratings. seems like ps2 is going to have a big couple of months.
GTA: S.A Jak 3 R.A.C: U.Y.A Ect.
Though myself.. I'm not really into GTA *shot*. I like fun characters!
*Goes to play sonic and Mario*

Just popping in to say hi, I was probably the first person in town to get it yesterday! I played it for eight hours straight. It takes a while to get used to the new way of things, but its the best GTA yet! Has anyone else stolen a plane from the airport yet? ;D It's insane how high you can go in this game.

I have to agree with Jamie, I got the game yesterday and it ROCKS. It is stunning the amount of things you can do and I haven’t left the first city yet, my CJ is looking very bling by the way. I’m now going to steal a plane and probably crash it.

Go to San Fierro and crash into the Golden Gate Bridge with the fighter jets on your tail! I've also parachuted off the tallest LS building.

I haven't played it yet, but I have wasted a lot of time on Jumper 2. Go figure.

*RENTED* I'm skint.
Frankly, all I can say is the graphics are still lacklustre beyond belief. Do Rockstar know how many colours they can use? It still looks like someone spray-painted the fire "effects" on.

Or the countryside?

Well, X3's right - the graphics are deeply poor. But I don't buy for graphics (Except a couple times )

ok as I missed this is move my old post here
well, I thought I would not be the first to post about thread for this but I guess I am however. after some how yesterday manging to by the game from comet after every other shop in town had sold out. i.e game game sation game jam woolworths wh smith argos littlewoods virgin hmv ...ect
anyway I load this game up and found it to be the greatest mix of complete [censored] and sheer brilaince ever. the sheer scope design and power of the game is remarkable, and the 90's gang culturew in america is done in a amusing and fairly accurate way(even though every thing is exagreted about 1000 times) another + is the way that the gang and ciies are now more interactive with you beeing abel to resonded to what your "homies" aqnd random people say example Homie: your clothes are bangin you postive: there strike you negative: there better then your rags and the choice again to lisen to rock, old rock, hip hop, rap, regge ect on the radio is also great however the missons atre so simlar in the simplisty to v.c and gta 3 that it's getting samey the big extra areas they have added to make it bigger then v.c is mainly just open country side, and it get worse it like a vitual pet at times well you have to build up your charcters skill and musle ect but if you don't maintain them they begin to drop you also have to make sure he eats and drink and in sims style you change his clothes by buying new things alls hircut e.c.t, and you can't ingore this and still do well, stupid gta. however it still makes a good game and however much I may knock it I am still hooked

I'll bet that somewhere in this game there is a reference to one if not all of the following...
* 9/11 twin towers attack. * osama bin laden (there will somewhere be a guy who resembles him) * sadam hussane. * Bill clintons affair * one of the ps2's other crime like games e.g. the getaway, will be mentioned in someway.
given the previous history of the games and whats happened in recent history it wouldnt uprise me, given you can be chased by fighter planes as someone previously said,
also whats the betting that if you do something like collect 100 hidden packages (dont have the game yet but I imagine theres something like it) you'll unlock a fighter plane.
