two player mode rock! to start two player mode find a floating symbol of manydiffrent veratiy that has the same picture twice i.e two people or two skulls then the game will ask you to press any button and you can start the two layer mode. the first one I found was a freeroam mode in los santos the second player get to chose a npc chracter model tom pay as, i.e a cop or gang member e.c.t
but these arn't all for example you can go to the local bar and play pool with an npc, or press strat as pplayer 2 and you get to play a two player game of pool against a mate.

I'll bet that somewhere in this game there is a reference to one if not all of the following... * 9/11 twin towers attack. * osama bin laden (there will somewhere be a guy who resembles him) * sadam hussane. * Bill clintons affair * one of the ps2's other crime like games e.g. the getaway, will be mentioned in someway. given the previous history of the games and whats happened in recent history it wouldnt uprise me, given you can be chased by fighter planes as someone previously said, also whats the betting that if you do something like collect 100 hidden packages (dont have the game yet but I imagine theres something like it) you'll unlock a fighter plane. So far I've spotted blatant references to True Crime, Driv3r, and Manhunt. The Driver one is a real mickey-take. ;D And you can crash aeroplanes into buildings, btw. There are no hidden packages, but 100 graffiti tags you have to spray over rival tags JSR style. Regarding the people who think the graphics are bad - WHAT THE HECK? I mean the fog in LS is pretty bad, but apart from that, the special effects are gorgeous, the explosions and fire are way better, the character models are way improved, the whole thing looks amazing IMO (especially considering the fact that they're trying to keep an entire American state running in full 3D with no loading). This game is just one big technical marvel. And to think I was impressed with Spider-man 2 a few months ago, with it's massive 3D NY. Recently I've done pimping, skydiving, flew to San Fierro and landed on the beach without getting a face full of missile, added nitro boost to my lowrider and used it in a street race, and shot down a police chopper. I'm so happy.

My flatmate got it yesterday morning, and I have to say it's remarkable how entertaining this game is to watch. Especially after he turned CJ into a gigantic mass of muscle and lard and had him run around with a big blonde afro, wearing only his pants and an eyepatch. Plus, it's made everyone talk in deliberately-rubbish-gangsta-speak all weekend.

Its not what it sounds like!lol Yeah I've been up the mountain to kill a witness being protected by the FBI in one mission -- I ended up chasing him down the entire mountain on a bicycle! I also skydived from a plane and parachuted around the mountain, yesterday. As for the gigantic phallus, I believe it's in the desert, so no. Just got to San Fierro, BTW! The look and feel is worlds apart from LS. ;D

Well, ghost cars and aliens have already been proven to be in the game so I would not be too surprised if there is Bigfoot.
BTW, does anyone have any tips for getting past Ryders third missions (the one with the army on the docks) and Smokes third one (the one with the shootout then the motorcycle escape). They are quite tough.

The main thing I love about GTA is that you can just lead a normal life and with the huge adventutre span you can literally do whatever the hell you want!

OK, first time I've been back since getting this. What a weekend! All I've done is GTA! I've got it comin' outta my ears! I played for 15 hours on Friday, and when I stopped my thoughts seemed to be speaking in CJ's voice... intriguing. Anyways, I was up Mount Chilliad on Friday night, San Fierro by Saturday night, and yesterday I managed to get to Las Venturas. And get to my very own pilot's school. That one'll have y'all cursin'. It's evilly hard. And the skydiving is just out of this world. So, these days I'm hangin' with my buddy Woozie in a little casino in Las Venturas, and getting ready to smash the Mafia to kingdom come. No doubt Don Salvatore Leone'll pop up in there somewhere. Damn college, and it's stupid homework... I could be playing right now if it wasn't for them .

The army one's not tough. Just cap 'em all if they close in on you, and then turn your attention back to the forklift when all is clear. 'Wrong Side of the Tracks' is possibly one of the hardest missions in the game, because it's so poorly designed. I can't give you any amazing hints here, just keep on trying. Try to stay away from the side of the train...the closer you are, the less chance Smoke's bullets are hitting the guys. Good luck! I've been chilling in San Fierro for a couple of days. The pace of the game slows down to a crawl here. I've completed pimping and burglary missions, and I'm trying to make enough money to buy property.

I actually wasn’t talking about “The wrong side of the Tracks” I was talking about the one after that, the one with the Russian gangsters. But it doesn’t really matter since I have completed that one now. The missions I am currently playing/stuck on are: The Ryder Army One. Burning Desire. Jeff’s third mission.
The problems I am having with the army one is really the drive escape part and the part were you have to grab the boxes, I just can’t get the hang of that lifting cars physics.
Here is just something I found out. I have tried to leave the city and I instantly gain 4 stars but if I leave using the train tunnel the cops don’t notice and I can explore the outside, but you can’t go very far because most of the bridges are bust.

I can't seem to win horse races at all. Incidentally, I just got to Las Venturas. The missions in the desert with Mike Toreno are some of the best in the whole game. I won't spoil it for you, but let's just say it goes very X-Files...

Always bet on the same horse. It'll eventually win. If you lose, load and try again, until you win. That's what I did! I've changed my name back now cos my Playstation decided to die and I can't play San Andreas. Like I don't have enough problems at the moment, there goes my salvation too. I'm totally screwed. It's my own fault for playing for 39 hours over the weekened... I killed it

Completed it yesterday!! The ending is...underwhelming, but at least you get the Harrier Jet towards the end which is pretty much the best thing in the game. Shooting down other fighter jets is fun. San Andreas is ten times better than any flight sim or air combat game ever invented! ;D In retrospect, this is a simply amazing game which probably just cruises ahead of MGS and FFVII in my top 25. The soundtrack was enormously disappointing and the graphics occasionally falter, but apart from that it's as darn near-perfect as videogames can get. Out of five Biochickens, I would give it a five!
