Well for fans of the C&C series it looked a little bleak after the appaling generals and zero hour and the complete silence,
However in an email to a C&C fansite there was a hint that there was work on a new C&C game. This got a lot of people talking and asking questions.
the next day the email was confirmed as being from an EA employee who specilises in RTS games (the sort C&C is). Then the email's content was confirmed, EA is working on the next command and conquer game which against all expectations isnt tiberium twilight nor generals 2 but red alert 3.
Am I excited! not really no.
anyway the site that got the exclusive email and was the first to hear about it is this one
cncden.com which is run by an idiot who has his lips welded to the bum of george bush, Trust me hes an idiot. but you can still read the emails there if you like.

they say it uses the generals engine :/ i hope they pull this off, it would get rid a hell of a lot of stcik for the EA LA team. oh yeah, and in case you didnt know, EA LA are the formally well know westwood pacific team, so while WW are dead the team certainly arent their last project was battle for middle earth, it uses generals engine(which was attually an awesome engine) and middle earth charaters and a new system for building and*head explodes* anyway, I cant wait for this, especially if its a carry on of the RA universe with the chronoshpere and iron curtain.... man, I can still remember those job has come to CnC fans at last!(well, we will wait and see )

I'm a semi-fan of the C&C series.
Red Alert 2 was a great game that would keep me on for hours, attempting to crush enemy bases in the shortest time possible.
Generals made me cry. It's appalling. I didn't enjoy playing it in the slightest.

Not really C&C generals is just over a year and a half old and zero hour came out last about a year ago I think. But it hasnt been longer then a usual game.
