I can't find what you're talking about on that site.
French makes it difficult.

Well, without Ronson giving us a direct link I can't find what he is talking about.
But just looking down that site I noticed that Sonic Heroes was the 6th best selling game of 04. Pretty impressive even if I didn't think much of the game.

Ahh yes, Sonic Crackers, the loose oddity that spawned Knuckles Chaotix. How frustrating that incompleted thing made me (before I knew it was incompleteable).
And so this is the famous Sonic-Online.net detailed in the Leaf Forest Zone. It all makes sense to me now...

Ah yes. I have that one. Good ol' Sonic Crackers. It even had the Knuckles Chaotix 'lobby' music.

It was never officially released. I heard rumours that it was unlockable on Mega Collection, but I don't know.
It was a game where you controlled Sonic, who was tied with an elastic sparkly rope to Tails. You had to ping about the level and try to get to the top.
Play Chaotix. It has Mighty and Espio in it. It's pretty much the same game, but without Sonic and Tails in it.

There are places of dubious legality that allow you to download the dumped Sonic Crackers (or SOnic Studium) ROM.
Like the Knuckles Chaotix game on the 32X, the stages were divided into different times of the day but there was only 2 stages made (and they weren't completed). The action is just like Chaotix (Mighty, Espio PLUS Charmee, Vector, Heavy and Bomb). Two characters (in this case, Sonic and Tails) are connected by 2 Rings and some special sorta Ring energy. You can access special areas by pulling off techniques with the chain between you.
