I can't get to any of them. RARGH I SAY! *sigh* Guess I have to stick with the Xploder ones -_- Anyhoo, I got Diamond on Friday, bugged Thalia to get a copy Saturday, and found out that it's the first proper Pokémon game (mystery dungeon doesn't count) that she's played XD. The graphics are a bit jarring at first, but it's not a bad game XD And digging around underground is a fun distraction Just don't expect me to be on here often because I'm very easily distracted Oh! A bug! *chases*

Urrrrggh, I'm addicted. I got Diamond yesterday and haven't left it since just now. The only thing not keeping me on there is the fact I've got to wait till tomorrow to see if there are any Skorupi in the Great Marsh.
Unfortunately I don't have wireless around the house so I can't get online with you guys yet. Btw does anyone know anything about the launch of the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB stick, I asked in Game a while ago and was told nothing had come out yet.

I'm up to the last gym or thereabouts, but have barely picked it up in two weeks.

In the Game in Bargate I might as well have been talking Dutch. In Gamestation they knew what I was talking about, AND had it in stock. Picked mine up today. I'll stick my friend code on here at some point. (DS is off now)

I might just go do that. Also, what does "swarm in route..." mean? I really fancy catching a magnemite but I'm not sure when and how they appear.

It means that in a certain are of the map (EG. Route 108), there is a temporary swarm of lots of the same pokemon, This ususally happens with rare ones that you wouldn't normally find. I think anyway, that's what it was like in Gold/Silver

It means that when your rival's sister tells you there is a swarm of that Pokemon (go to the house south of the lab) that it will be where she says it is.
You can't catch it at all otherwise.
You also wont find any until you've completed the game and obtained the National Pokedex.

Random question: How many Pokemon are actually obtainable in Diamond and Pearl without trading from other games? Just wondered if there were a significant amount of Kanto/Johto/Hoenn critters in there or you'd have to rely on trading from older games.

Technically, all the Pokemon other than the starters and legendaries from Gens I-III are available in the games without needing Pal Park.
You still need the GBA games plugged in to get your hands on some though.
Of course, with D/P being online, really you don't need to use Pal Park at all - assuming you have a friend (or just someone willing to trade) with what you need.

But then the majority of the online trades are so unbalanced- I'm after a Turtwig, for example, but people are wanting Lv 100 Palkia in return!

That rings a bell www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=235I'll probably be getting this sometime soon. If only my router worked with my DS. (It's on the flipping "Supported" list on the Nintendo website. Lousy technology...)

That VG Cats is right, too. The series needs a MAJOR shakeup.

The stange trades are the ones that want the same 'Mon as they're offering, but at a few levels higher. It's as if they can't be bothered training it anymore.

He did say, "...with D/P being online...", so I read that he was talking about the GTS. My points still stand, though.

Speaking of trading online, anyone have a Ditto I could borrow to breed my Glaceon with?

My friend code is 4639 6304 4806.
Feel free to add me. Ryan and Pete... 'Cos I saw your codes on this page, I've added you. That cool?
Although, I should add that I'm about a lightyear behind you. As in I only have two badges. I'm taking this game slower than the others it seems... Much slower.
Okay, on that note I just went through and added everyone I could find in this thread. Pete, Ryan, Stiv, Shadic, Dr Oak, Ben.

Yeah, that's cool with me.
And don't worry about the time it takes- it took me about 60 hours for me to beat the Elite Four, and even then, it took me about 10 times before I beat them. Then there's another 10 hours afterwards.
