Wow. Well, what can I say. Just been in the loft and dug out 4 copies of STC from when I used to read them years ago. A nostaligic trip to say the least! I have here issues 16, 17 and 20. The others are probably lost. I swear I must have collected at least 150 of these things, I remember waiting for the next fortnightly issue to come out with anticipation! But then again I was what..eerm...8? About that. I stopped reading STC because I moved onto buying the official Sega Saturn magasine, and as most things you just grow out of getting them. Plus I couldn't afford them both. So what's STC like, eerm, 12 years after I began reading it? I see from this site (which I just found after keying sonic comic in , in google, the net never existed publically in 1993 did it? lol) that sonic and the gang have changed somewhat for a new futuristic 3d sort of look. Reading the comics now obviously the stories dont captivate me as much as when I was younger, but maybe thats because I still remember most of them. And of course, the magic of them just isnt the same when you're 17 not 7 I'm going in town tomorrow to sell my dreamcast, and the only sonic game on a console I had left. He's just the character I grew up with as a kid I guess Absolution

Trust me man, your gonna regret losing all your games, I really regreted leaving all my STC's, I had hundreds, and they all got thrown out. Without my permission! Then my videos went, again without me knowing, I kept them just as a reminder of the great times I had as a kid, and sometimes I would just sit down and watch an old AoStH video for old times sake. Despite being 16, I still love to look back over it, and to still keep up to date. I do know how you feel, what with growing out of it, but its definetly worth keeping something for remembering.

Better idolising STH at 7 rather than like kurt cobain and being influenced by drugs n sh*t at an early age. What you said made sense, its nice to look back on what you liked as a kid.

Actually, my favourite was the straight action story where Sonic had to keep running around the planet to stop terrorist attacks on Mobius's railway stations, air and sea ports. Fast and adrenalised -- wonderful!

I remember that episode, it was great since it kinda showed Sonics weakness and forced Tails to rescue him at the end.

oh I love that episode Ed, its one of my faves. AOSTH had some awesome ideas, even if it was aimed at kids. despite what people say I really enjoy watching it, despite my age. same with a lot of things I enjoyed as a kid and still do. yes, my mum used to throw my stuff out to, but she never touched my sonic stuff, had better sence no doubt. I think i'd have cried.

I don't know... It's just... Not forum. I learnt this in my previous line of Moderation. I think it's because it pushes newer, more relevant subjects out the way.

Yeah, guess your're right there. Plus if topics don't get replied withen a month its obvious that people don't want to talk about them anymore.
