Mega Man ZX is awesome. You should get it and I'm not just saying that because I'm a rabid Mega Man fanboy who thinks everyone should play Mega Man games. You should also get Star Force if it's out there. Pre-order ZX Advent too. >_>

Is Advent actually a sequel? Or is it a "definitive" version of the same game?

Its the sequel to ZX. I guess they thought "ZX2" might've looked just a tad too retarded.

Possibly never. They've got a habit of doing that to Europe if they don't think it'll be worth their while.
Import it if you want it so badly.

I saw a japanese mega drive + Mega cd and 10 games for £39 today in a Cash converters style store. (they failed to mention it was a foreign console as they do) It was ever so pretty with its shiney shiney purple bits and blue reset button.

since this is general...
Am I the only one whose quite sad to see all the changes they've made to the Crash Bandicoot series of late? half the characters now look nothing like they used to, with Uka Uka, and Tiny Tiger looking completely different. The plots have now slipped the line between "cartoon realism" and have become "cartoon lunacy". Shame, I liked the original Crash Bandicoot games Naughty Dog made, they had a certain charm to them, which the new games (specifically Crash of the Titans) has pissed all over.

Possibly never. They've got a habit of doing that to Europe if they don't think it'll be worth their while. Capcom do it deliberately to try and get more people to buy the games. They've been pulling the same tactic of "Well... we'll see if we'll release game X based on the sales of game Y... maybe" for the entire Phoenix Wright series. So much so that Nintendo of Europe are practically FORCING them to release Apollo Justice here by publishing it themselves. And when it comes to Europe and MegaMan in general, it's just not a favourable mix. Apparently it's too hard for European gamers or something... since this is general... I can't imagine many people caring as Crash Bandicoot is, and always has been, really rather crap. The only reason the game ever got any notice on the Playstation was because we were crawling out of a Mario vs Sonic era and it was somehow deemed necessary for the Playstation to pony up its mascot for the brawl (if you'll excuse the terms). And considering that you have the original Spyro and Tomb Raider games to go out in his place, I don't really see why anyone could be drawn to the appeal of the [censored] love child of Donkey Kong and Mario.

"Too hard for European gamers", what!? What is that? Do they not think we're capable of playing anything that only requires one button to play or something? That's just downright insulting! Well, we'll show them! WE'LL SHOW ALL OF THEM!!

Megaman ZX Advent is due out over here sometime near the start of February, if I remember rightly, but I'm far too impatient to wait for it, so I ordered it over ebay yesterday. Figured I might as well since its my birthday today and I have money flowing out of my ears. And yes, ZX is amazing. Maybe not as good as the Zero games, but yeah, it is bloody good.

I've yet to play the Zero games. I've looked for Zero 1 but haven't managed to find it.

Apparently that's changing; since now the Japanese are complaining that ZXA is too hard, when its supposed to be quite easy in comparison to earlier games.

Now that's just rubbish, even if in mascot terms Crash bandicoot couldn't hold a candle to many of the other suggested candidates, his games (or at least the Naughty Dog ones) were very good, and about the only good 2.5D (as apposed to the proper 3D, like Mario64, and Spyro) platformer of it's time, I can think of. Crash had a certain charm about it I guess, maybe you can't see why, but it's an individual thing. I for one liked Crash, possibly almost as much as Sonic. Though I've got a funny feeling the games got noticed was because they were actually rather good, and enjoyable.

Crash's first outing wasn't too great, but his next three were fine; Warped in particular was wonderful. Then Naughty Dog ditched him and he more or less died.
As Shadic once said; "He's hit hard times, people!"

Faeros has succesfully brought about an impact on the flat plateu atop a... nail. Couldn't think of a posh word for nail. Crash made by NaughtyDog was great. Probably because NaughtyDog are good at making games. Crash made by whoever it was ND sold it to (after CTR) is utter crap, because apparently they aren't good at making games.
