Armour system will hopefully go some way to repairing the loss of the fantastic Weapon Break system from Soul Blade.

I'm not a big fan of instant kill movies in fighting games. I just get the feeling that the tier list is going to end up with who's is the easiest to pull off. Although the update which the modern consoles allow at least make it so Soul have the opportunity to close up any exploits they leave gaping.
The armour system sounds kinda interesting though.

Is that Angol Moa from Keroro Gunso? What's she doing there?

No, its Agnol Fear or Fia. Designed by the creator of Sgt. Frog though.
There is a good picture of her in game on Gamespot.

No, her on the left. The cartoon. That looks exactly like Angol Moa

Yeah, it's saying "designed by the guy who designed Sgt Frog, whom this character belongs to" iirc. Also, the original Soul Calibur on XBLA could be neat, if they give it Online, leaderboards, perhaps a shinier interface, that kinda thing.

Oh my God, it's just a Soul Calibur version of Angol Moa's Lord of Terror guise. Sold.

On SC1, online is still up in the air at the moment. Neither confirmed nor denied, only local play is promised. Disappointing, but if it is absent then I can sort of understand. They don't want to hurt the sales of SCIV.
Still, I'd implore them to add online.

I have to say, I would be very scared if the only improvement for the series between SC 1 to 4 is the addiction of online play. But I get what you mean.
I also hope for online play. That would be mighty awesome.

I'm still having trouble trying to make sense of my thoughts on this game. On the one hand, half of my head is screaming "JUMP THE SHARK, JUMP THE SHARK!" with Yoda and Vader... on the other hand, the rest of my head's pointing out that it's not a whole lot more shark jumpy than SCII's bonus characters.
And then there's a part of me that's just rather narked that I can only play as Yoda on my 360.

Rumour has it the special editions of the game MAY contain both. But this has been both championed and disputed so don't hold me to it. I can't see it happening.

I can see Vader playing like a heavier Mitsurugi, whereas Yoda is unique due to his small stature; if I had a choice between the two, I'd probably go for Yoda. At least in terms of gameplay.

Simply this: I can't wait for Soul Calibur Legends for the Wii. I always used to love playing with my copy I had for the PS2. Fighting all day on it was something I had to do, and now I can re-live that glory, by getting the Wii online I can have the pleasure of kicking ass.

Legends is meant to be a third-person RPG type thing isn't it?

And then there's a part of me that's just rather narked that I can only play as Yoda on my 360. There is a rumour that Vader/Yoda will be available as paid downloadable content a little while after SC IV is released. Not right that, I half suspect that Vader/Yoda will already be on the disc. Also SCL is a bad game that [censored]s us the canon worse than Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks. Only without the surprise that Shaolin Monks was decent. Tis a shame that.
