Invasion Slayer yes.
Invasion mode needs some work I think. Would be nice not to be forced into teams of two maybe? I can see what they're attempting to do, (Teams of two) but it never seems to work out in that way (Grouping together into one big fight)

I find Halo one of the most reliably great series' ever, mostly down to the following points. - As mentioned above, it's reliably great. Even the black sheep (Halo 2) is better than 90% of games out there. Halo 2's the best in the series. Halo One suffered from being an early console game, so its plot wasn't particularly fleshed out or detailed, whilst Halo 3 kowtowed to online retards who couldn't handle multiple plot threads or interesting characters. - It's world and universe is meticulously detailed, I really love it when a game really makes an effort to make it's world more than just an excuse to game in, but instead makes it "a game set in the Halo universe" rather then "a universe formed into a game." Ah. Yes, well, sort-of. Halo's story works well if you take into account all the detail from the tie-ins, but it's completely barren in-game. By the time you reach Halo 3, a lot of the plot is based around extra details most gamers didn't really understand or know about, because Bungee are terrible storytellers. - Music and voice acting. Marty O'Donnell is a genius. fo' sho'. - It doesn't take itself too seriously. Unlike MW2 which put on the SRS BSNS GUYZ cap, Halo has always retained a knowledge that it's never too melodramatic, and if it is, it's a deliberate hamming up. I'd disagree. Halo's storyline is incredibly earnest and really demands to have itself taken seriously. Check out the pretentious Cortana monologue at the start of Halo 3 that tries to convince players that the story hasn't been completely axed. I loved the Halo series, but Halo 3 really soiled what could have been a jewel in Microsoft's Crown. The jewel belongs to Mass Effect now, providing the third one doesn't relegate all its characters to one-liners and grossly simplifies its storytelling style.

So Reach fans, easter egg / spoiler time for your enjoyment On the last cutscene on the Pillar of Autumn mission, after you have shot the Covenant cruiser with the mass driver, hold right on the right thumbstick. (So it's as if you're trying to look right for the entire cutscene.) Part of the cutscene will pan across the hangar bay of the Pillar of Autumn, showing up something of interest.
A nice inclusion, I think Also I just completed legendary solo. Gloat, etc.
