Does anyone remember the one which just got set on fire by Sgt.Bash? Then they had a special rematch where they just added a [censored]load of carpet to it?! ?D

Go to this address for more about this robot: www.esatclear.ie/~feoras/diotoir/index2.htm

You should be able to get it on Digital Freeview. A freeview box only costs about £5 - £10 these days. Thing is, I have a freeview box, but I can't get anything resembling decent reception in my area. Oh, that's quite rubbish then. I can't get a few channels either. I stay in a small village a bit out of the way. It means I can't get Film 4 and other stuff.

It has been a long while since I've used it. For all I know, the TV transmitters in my area have been fixed up so I might be able to get better reception now. I think I'll put that to the test later.

I find this battle pretty funny, poor Milly Ann Bug. All the wheels were taken off by Razer.

Or decent Internet, or decent phone signals, or, in fact, ANYTHING decent. Robot Wars! Woo! Will be tuning in as soon as I can get my aerial to tune in to a decent degree. ...Which'll be never, probably. And that Milly Ann bug bears one Hell of a resemblance to the Caterkiller...

And that Milly Ann bug bears one Hell of a resemblance to the Caterkiller... Quite possibly deliberate, o'course. Thinking about it, it's a little surprising there weren't really any robots in the series (that I can recall) taking their cues from Badniks. A two-wheeled variant on the Moto Bug could've done okay if they gave it some decent weaponry...

There was a robot called Sonic in Series 3:

Jeez, Robot Wars.
Anyone else remember watching the Blue Peter that featured Road Block, just before the debut of season 1?
Also, I always found it a massive shame that Hypnodisc, after its first one or two entries, always seemed to massively lose power in its disc. Regularly a grand entry of destruction, that pootered out to being steamrollered.

Seems to be the way to beat spinners. Use a HUGE bit of armour to slow the spinner then keep ramming them into stuff.
Or you could just do what Team Razer did when drawn against Nightmare in the American series....make a better spinwheel and tear that sucker apart.
