Eh? What's sick about that? Well, the idea of the Doctor being sexual just comes off as WRONG. He's never been a sexual person before, except possibly back in the youth of his First incarnation (coz Susan had to come from somewhere).

I must admit, I'm not an avid Whovian, so I don't know anything about that. But I'm not saying they should have sex. I'm just saying they have chemistry. Plus, Ecclestone must be just about the youngest doctor?

Episode 3 was a bit hit and miss for me. I loved the ramblings of Charles Dickens, he made the episode for me. I felt somewhat satisfied when he saw the Tardis disappear and started laughing to himself.
Episode 4 does look cracking; full of action and returning back to the present day to see Rose's family and friends again.

Gee, Ominion, tell us something we don't know. For ratings-watchers, looks like the ratings are back up for 3:

i think the viewing figures for the 3 episodes actully reflect how good they were, episode 2 was not as good as episode 1 and 3, but 3 really was nice, the chemistrey between rose and the doctor actully feeling real rather the poorly acted, but it was charles dickens and the gelph that made the episode for me, the whole doctor got it wrong, and the sacrife of one hero going on noticed, that a real story and works nicley.
it maybe be old and done before, but it was done extremly well, as for next epiosde I just feel destorying big ben will destory the realism of the show.
having siad that the whole killer manqunies in episode proably did that lol

Well, I disagree on your assessment of the relative merits of the first two episodes, but in any event it can't really be a reflection on the episodes' merits since people aren't watching to judge. It might be a reflection to the merits of the previous episode(s), I suppose.

I quite liked the way the mickey was taken out of Cardiff in episode 3. Considering bits of it are filmed there The 'Queen's Arcade' in episode 1 is where I do most of my shopping! And it was entertaining to see the Howell's shop getting blown up, it's too expensive in there anyway ^_^ --Thalia

Episode three was excellent. Best one so far. Except that the next episode looks like it's going to blow everything away. If I had tenterhooks, I'd be on 'em.

yeah episode three was quality. Glad to see the show is still proving popular. episode 3 was written by mark gatiss from the league of gentlemen. I can see with the dark conotations the similarities between that and the latest episode.

Wouldn't you be a bit upset if you saw Earth blow up, even though you knew it's not happening in your natural lifespan?

It's nice that Rose was able to react like that, the script writers could of so easliy written the story like Rose was enjoying the whole thing or even worse was unable to to show any real feeling about her world blowing up.
It's nice to see that she can object to the Doctor and that sometimes she can be right (see last episode) Even the Doctor is capable of messing up

I know I'll probably live to see most of my older family and friends die, but that doesn't mean I won't be affected by it when it happens.

I swear I saw another repeat of it but I don't know what day it was.
Does anyone know what day?

What got me was how few people there were present at the end of the Earth. The Earth only blows up once, even if you are a time traveller. You'd think that if every person who'd ever want to see the Earth blow up went to see it, there'd be a few more than six. =P
