With the upcoming Episode III, I felt its time to justify who is the most scariest Star Wars Sith Lord. So go on, vote. Which one of these Sith Lords scare you a litte? Which one is so evil that you shudder at the very name? Darth Tyranus - Hardly Terrifying. Sadly, the least aggressive of the Sith Lords. The Lord of Betrayal - AHH! PSYCHOTIC WOMAN WHO WANTS TO DESTROY THE FORCE! First female Dark Lord of the Sith. Cyptic as hell. Darth Malak - Very brutal. Left such a mess that the Old Republic is STILL recovering FIVE YEARS after his defeat. Darth Sidious - Refuses to reveal secret identity. Cracks eyebrow when asked to "Do the Rancor." Very menacing eyes in VI. Darth Maul - Black and Red tattoos. Freaky eyes. EEK! The Lord of Pain - Cracks and dried blood are EVERYWHERE on his skin. Has a huge scar on his right eye. Lives only to "inflict the pain on others." Darth Vader - Breathing problems. Half-machine. And has KIDS. Brilliant. The Lord of Hunger - Despite his title, he has nothing to do with food. My vote goes to Nihilus. He is the ONLY Sith Lord who is more terifying the Darth Vader. The ONLY. He is not a being touched by the Force, he is more of a part of the Force. He is a wound in the Force, a gaping hole that can never be closed. He is a sipher, forming bonds, leeching the life of others. He is already dead, and must feed on Force Sensitives and worlds to sustain him. His mere presence kills all around him, slowly feeding him. I've seen his crew abord his ship. They look half-dead. They ARE half-dead. And when he speaks, his voice is something you've never heard before. It is disorted and echoes throughout your mind. Then there's more. His ambition: Many Sith Lords have ambitions. Sidious wanted the complete destruction of the Jedi Order. Malak wanted to be ruler of the galaxy. But Nihilus is different...
Through his eyes, he sees the people throughout the galaxy. And he sees how they toil with their everyday lives. How he perceives that normal people think that their lives are awful, and the patheticness they swin in. And for this... all life... must die. All life. There is no future in the empty galaxy he sees, all life deserves death. And the galaxy will become an lifeless system full of floating rocks. And he cares nothing for the Jedi. Or the galaxy. Or the Republic. Or even the Sith. He will consume not only the Jedi, the Republic and the rest of the galaxy, but also the Sith themselves. He cares nothing for the anything or anyone. Do not think of his power as a weapon or a warship. It is terrible. And gaze beyond that mask, and try to stare into his eyes. You can't, can you? His face shows nothing but an eternal blackness. EDIT: Okay, some kind of error happend, so please re-vote.

I was gonna pick Darth Tyranus, but that other one, Nihilus, now HE is terrifying. This is the first time I have saw him but GEEZ. The whole monoism to kill everything is a horror filled idea.
Monoism has always been something that scares me.
*hides under the table, but comes up to fast and smacks his head*
If only Grevious was in this (however he is not a 'Darth' as such) I woulda picked him, machines are really scary things when they want to kill you, as nothing can convince them otherwise.

Monoism has always been something that scares me. *hides under the table, but comes up to fast and smacks his head* Belive me, I could've ranted about Nihilus for ages. Such as he is more of a monster then a man. And the quotes other characters make when they talk about him... "What do you know Visas' Master?" - Main Character "He, if he can be called a man any longer, is one of the Dark Lords of the Sith that pursues you. He spared the miraluka" (Visas) "and that may have been the last shed of feeling he ever had." - Kreia *Nihilus' ship, the Ravager, meeting with Colonel Tobin. Tobin looks half-dead* "Have you come... to kill me?!" - Tobin "Tobin? What happened to you?" - Main Character " He happened..." - Tobin "What happened to this ship? It looks as if it was destroyed long ago." - Main Character "It is because keeps this ship together. His mere presence not only feeds on us all, but his power, his presence, keeps this dead ship... together." - Tobin "Hmph! More Jedi tricks." - Mandalore "Oh no. Not Jedi. Not Jedi at all." - Tobin As you read from the above quotes, he did have a little mercy. He spared blind girl, but only to take her in as his apprentice. And it seems Visas must have undergone training even more vicious then how Darth Sidious trained Maul. She bears vicious scars on her body.

I'm gonna be an annoying little bugger, and say What about Darth Revan? ;D And there's also Ajunta Pall who you face in KOTOR. And I think you face Tulak Hord in Jedi Knight II. The list is endless

I'm gonna be an annoying little bugger, and say What about Darth Revan? ;D Darth Revan is like Darth Tyranus. Charismatic and persuasive. And since one of the two is more well known... Would he count as he only appears once and the fact that he's a ghost? You got two things mixed up. There is no Sith Lord in JKII, Tulak Hord was never ressurected. The Sith Lord that was ressurected was Marka Ragnos in Jedi Academy. Besides, I wanted to use the Darth's rather then the ancient Sith Lords which predate back to when the Sith were first formed.

Must be a rubbish Sith Lord. Good point. And Darth Ajunta Pall doesn't sound very threatening does it. Same horse different jockey. I still think you should've put Darth Revan in there though. He was (technically) the first Sith Lord to turn good. So that's gotta count for something. Anyway, my vote goes to.. Darth Vader.. again. And that's the third time I've heard that Darth Sidious' identity spoiler now. I'm so annoyed.

Though the Jedi would say otherwise. Yeah, but this is about the most terrifying Sith Lord. Not the best. Other I'd vote Revan then. Um, well. It is blatently obvious who he is.

Well actually, I'd never heard of Darth Tyranus until reading this post. Must be a rubbish Sith Lord. He's Count Dooku. Someone obviously advised him that "Tyranus" is a rubbish name, so he never uses it. Mind, "Dooku"'s not that much better... As for Sidious's indentity...well, if you saw Ep I and II and couldn't figure it out, I may have to roll my eyes at you. Thusly.

I mean I watched them, but that was for the sake of them. Now I'm quite the beardy. (Beardy= term for people who like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, stuff like that.)

Has to be Darth Vader. He is the original Sith and will always be the greatest. The image, the voice, the force powers, all this comes together to a being who is truly terrifying.
Darth Maul also rocks. He really is a contrast against the black mask of Vader; suddenly you get an insane tattooed face of Maul. Also he manages to fight off two Jedi at once, which was pretty awesome. I can see why so many people were annoyed when he got chopped in half, he had the potential to be the Vader of the early three, but it seems like it was not to be.
Darth Nihilus looks cool, but it seems like they have just tried to remake the image of Vader into a new character, and that only worked if the new character is better then the old one. Nope, sorry deadboy.

That's a thought. There was a picture not long ago, showing all the actors to do with the story, with George Lucas. They had Vader, young Anakin, current Anakin, Padme, Anakins mum, old Obi-Wan, current Obi-Wan, Han-Solo, Luke Skywalker etc. But I don't remember seeing Darth Maul there.. or Darth Sidious for that matter. Hmm

Not's that really the case. It never once occured to me "Vader" when I saw Nihilus. Its hard to explain, exactly, but Nihilus is very different from Vader. His background is not the same. In fact, its entirely diffirent. And Nihilus is so great that if the Dark Side of the Force was a person, it would be him. Its as if he is the Dark Side itself. Not someone who is a slave to it. And trust me. His voice... its nowhere near what you would expect. Its not even human. He doesn't speak like a human.

Trust go and get the game and hear it for yourself. I can't find any voice samples on the internet and trust me, you'll be surprised.
I was saying what I was posted because Nihilus was a human. Not an alien or robot.

YODA!! lol!! Im kidding of course but how funneh would that be if Yoda was really the guy behind it all?! Darth Maul was disappointing after all the hype and his demonic makeup...heck the whole 1st two episodes are disappointing! Darth Vader isnt terrifying IMO, in fact I find him quite hilarious! The mask doesnt do much to be honest, he just looks like a robot of some sort (which I guess is kinda true with his regeneration) with an elaborate cape! In his first appearance, I didnt feel fear I felt "what the heck was that?" (I saw the Empire Strikes Back before the original Star Wars) but I do like his killing people with a thought ability! muahahaaa...

Yoda couldn't go Dark Side, people look at him being Light Side and think 'ooh he's wise' if he goes Dark Side, then people will be like 'That's the big bad that's killing everyone?? ' And laugh. Haha. Irony, big bad, little person. Lmao.

Whoever thought that breathing throuhg your mouth noisly could be so cool?! lol! True, but how many evil characters could you come across who could choke someone to death over an intercom? (Empire Strikes Back) One of Darth's coolest moments.
