Comical Games just got in issues 180 and 181, so I've bought them To say I'm happy is an understatement. On a slightly more sad note, they also had very nearly every single reprint issue I needed but someone beat me to those Still, at least I'll have all the stories now

Right now, because I want a full set. In the future, well, STC isn't exactly a goldmine, but all 223 issues plus all the specials and poster mags might just be worth something some day, you never know. Though I personally have no intention of selling my comics at this point in my life, especially a series I'm still collecting 17 years after I started, at the very least, it'll be something nice to give my kids. Plus, honestly, STC was a huge part of my childhood and it'd be nice to be able to say I had them all.

I never understood the meaning of the sign "Time zone" during the shanazar issues. what the heck does it mean?

It's a reference to an "arc" as such - it was used to identify a series of strips that were part of the same story, as it were. I guess it was just part of the comic design, its not really that important AFAIK.

Okay, so I have someone who's new to StC who wants to buy some issues off of ebay or Comical Games (He hates reading comics online, so he won't download them)
For the sake of saving him money, can someone make a quick list of issues he should skip over? Which ones are the essitinals (Major story arcs, etc)

Probably go for: STC 8, 9 (Origin of Sonic, Robotnik takes over Mobius) STC 24-28 (The Sonic Terminator) STC 33-38 (Enter Knuckles, and Robotnik destroying Sonic's secret base) STC 47-53 (Sonic and Knuckles adaptation; Countdown and Disaster) STC 53-57 (Knuckles Chaotix, and the continuation of the Metallix story from "The Sonic Terminator") STC 63-66 ("Project Brutus") STC 65- 72 (Knuckles' "Homecoming" and "The Graveyard") STC 67-72 ("Return of the Chaotix", conclusion of "The Sonic Terminator" story) STC 80-82 (Running Wild, and the start of the Knuckles World Tour of Mobius) STC 83-86 (Sonic fighting Super Sonic in the Special Zone) STC 97-100 (Count down to the 100th issue, and the conclusion of the Knuckles World Tour) STC 104-106 (Introduction of the Drakon Empire) STC 108-111 (Sonic tried in the Drakon Empire; "The Evil Empire") STC 116-118 ("Best of Enemies" and "Super Sonic: Hunter and the Hunted") STC 123-125, 127-130 ("Order and Chaos", leading to "Robotnik Reigns Supreme") STC 171-174 ("Game Over") STC 175-184 (Sonic Adventure adaptation, final new story)
There's a lot there, but often times stories last ages, or aren't touched on for a while, or even have different characters in them (like the Mettalix/ Sonic Terminator story, which starts in STC 24, and doesn't finish until 72).

They take debit/credit cards as well. Thats good to know...once I'm able to find a job...I'll be sure to put aside some cash for a few issues. (also darn this small town I live in & its even smaller Job market!)

Commute? meh..I guess..but with gas Prices these days here in the U.S. I'd lose more money then I would make. Its not all that bad though...I'm still applying places...should get one eventually...and my pops gives me some fun money for helping him with the lawn-work on weekends. but this is getting of topic (sorry.) BOT: I've been wondering what issues of STC have the best Knuckles &/or Chaotix Stories in them?

Gas prices in the US... you have no idea how easy you guys have it over there compared to the UK. Regarding STC back issues, they are available on the internets as scans for you to read before buying.

Two Poster Mags and five reprint issues and I'll have a full set! Woo hoo! Of course, here's where finding them gets hard.

Tailskicksass.net doesn't allow me to download/view comic scans. Yes the cover images are very nice, now how about the rest of the comic? Do you have to register first or what?

It's free registration, though, so there's no real hassle about it.

Does anyone have a copy of STC198 that they could scan the cover for me to put on the Sonic Wiki? I don't have that one, and the cover on the cbr file I have has a big sticker set on it.
