Ok.. stealing the ideas of other members With the holidays coming up and all.. I thought, maybe I'll post my top 15 favorite games.. to maybe recommend some fun games. If you disagree with them.. please dont flame me. One every night Speaking of night... Number 15: NiGHTS: Into Dreams. Saturn. NiGHTS is considered one of the best games ever by critics..though it's not number 1 for me, it's still one hell of a game. The look of the game is candy for the eyes, it's like looking into the imagination of a child. The game play is unique, but simple.. collect orbs, destroy machines (sorry my terminology isn't good). The game play may be simple, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily easy. The game can be a challenge, especially as you progress through the game.If you don't own a Saturn.. sorry you're out of luck.

*raises hand* I've never played it! Don't have a clue what it's about, it sounds a bit sappy to me but I'm assured that it's genius.

Number 14: Megaman 7. SNES The Megaman series is probably the most branched out series, because of it's popularity. The original series is probably the most popular of the many series. Megaman 7 not only brought the original series to newer platforms (of the time), but it also introduced many aspects that would follow into the Megaman series. The introduction of customizing your buster as well as the first appearance of the fan favorite Bass made this one heck of a game. The game stays true 1-6, 8 bosses and a castle at the end. The nes games did have differing stages, but in 7 you finally got to better experience the look of the level, because of the improved graphics. The game isn't simple, the last bad guy of this game is incredibly ..and I mean INCREDIBLY hard to beat. The Megaman Anniversary collection (all platforms) is a perfect way to experience this game.. though it does cut out some of the ending.

Cuts out the ending? Which part and WHY?
Anniversary Collection isn't out in the UK, BTW.

Cuts out the ending? Which part and WHY? Anniversary Collection isn't out in the UK, BTW. The part where megaman is walking with the fire in the backround was cut out... I dont know why... Capcom made some huge mistakes on the game... The gamecube has the controls all screwed up.

NiGHTS for me would be number 2 I'd say. Good game. Very good. Mega-man, never played it.The game can be a challenge Some people have never played the game, but that doesn't mean you should lie to them. I got all A's, why? Because it's effing easy.

By this... The game isn't simple, the last bad guy of this game is incredibly ..and I mean INCREDIBLY hard to beat. ...I'm sure you mean Forte because as far as I know, he was the only one able to kick Megaman's ass easily. (Curse my Megaman ignorance.)

Some people have never played the game, but that doesn't mean you should lie to them. I got all A's, why? Because it's effing easy. The game was sorta difficult for me.. I never even tried to get all As.. ...I'm sure you mean Forte because as far as I know, he was the only one able to kick Megaman's ass easily. (Curse my Megaman ignorance.) Bass/Forte is semi hard in this game.. but he has a pattern that you can follow. I was talking about the final Dr.Willy.... there's actually no way to beat him without using 4 Es.

Number 13: Super Mario 64. N64 Mario 64 not only marked an accomplishment in graphics.. It marked the beginning of an entire generation of games. Mario's first fully 3d game and one of the launch titles for the n64. It was Mario's only real platforming game on the entire console.. but it left it's mark. Not all games transition from 2d to 3d, but Mario did easily. The game is long, complex and deep, with 120 (or more.. I forget) stars to get.. it's really a challenge. The gameplay is simple; you have your jumps and your punches.. easy enough. It's really the level and mission design that makes this game so great.. in one level you'll be in Egypt trying to get your hat from a vulture and then you'll be under the sea attacking an eel. The game can get a little repetitive.. Especially after having to collect 100 coins in every level.. but the game has plenty to of fun to make up for it. Mario 64 has been re-released on the DS.. with more extra and options than ever before.

(Psst... keep this secret. If any of my PS loving mates found I said this, I am a dead man!)
Okay, I admit that being the first full 3D game action platformer ever, that Mario 64 did break some huge boundries. All other free-roaming platformers owe *choke* homeage to this game. This game almost *almost* made me buy a N64 but fortunately I was brought to my senses in time.
(You haven't mentioned Banjo Kazooie yet! I'm shocked!)

Dont worry kids.. I know most of you have played this. Number 12: Sonic 2. GEN. The sequel to the game that started it all. Sonic 2 was rushed, think about how great this game would have been if it wasn't! OK.. so this game is undoubtedly the highest rated sonic game. Critics name this game as being one of the best games ever, and in my opinion it is (obviously. since it's on my list). I know you all know this.. but I don't care. Sonic returns in his second genesis adventure, this time with a two tailed fox, Tails. Though I do love sonic 1, part 2 improved on it's weaknesses a lot; more fun levels, more of a story, versus and much more. What can be said about this game that you guys dont already know? Nothing... Nothing can be said. It's been released on 6 systems.. if you've missed it... there's still time.

You really didn't need to quote that. - Samface HELL YEAH! Sonic 2, undoubtedly the greatest Sonic game of all time and also a record breaker, as it sold 250,000 copies on it's first day and the only game to be ever released twice. With its crisp sharp sprites, chalenging almost unforgiving levels and inventive badniks, this was a sure fire winner. Only few problems was it's somewhat rigid gameplay (Sonic runs around, smashes badniks, collects rings, beats bosses, run, smash, collect, boss etc.) and a tendency to have sudden, annoying deaths (if I fall on one more spike I will scream!) but this was all ironed out with it's great two player race and co-operative action. I love this game to death!

my top 13......invole mostly RTS 13. Emperor battle for dune - also very fun, just not good enough to place high. 12. mechwarrior 4:mecreries - the customiability of it was so cool! PPCs everything! such fun, pity theres not a new one, there r better games out there. 11. CnC generals - its a wonderful game, I loved the graphic and the gameplay with points, but slapping the CnC name on it knocked it down. its not CnC, but made by the CnC team. 10 CnC red alert - I liked this. not too hard, but definatly not easy. I loved the orignality in it. the units was pure imagination and so were the weapons on it. 9 Starcraft - a huge game with almost endless possiblities. I loved it to bits. 8 Half life - another orignal, its a goog game, only problem was I never got it working online.... 7 Halo - I'm not the biggest fan of FPS, but if I didnt play so many of RTS games, its would be much higher. its pure and perfect, and since ive not yet played halo 2 or half life 2 this is in here. 6 sonic mega collection - every decent sonic game from the last decade is in here. I wish sonic CD was, then this would be number 2 5 Warcraft 3 - I love this game, its so well done. easily the most customisable game maps ever, it it wasnt the fact that this maps dont change the game it would be the most modable. it is almost ALWAYS on the top of the X fire top ten, thus proving my statement. 4 sonic adventure 2 battle - its great. why over DX? because its less buggy and I love its speed. no game is as fast as it, and I just love the thrill of grinding down a rail. 3 CnC red alert 2 - loveed to bits. its as brilliant as the orignal, just with new units and much better graphics. it definately deserves this place. 2 Sonic CD - dont knock it. its a legend. if you've played it, you will know what I mean. the music is fatastic, the fact that the levels change depending on time(future, present, past), the boss levels change and some of the special stages ive yet to finish. 1 WarHammer40k:Dawn Of War - its perfect. almost. if it wasnt for the short campaign and slight imbalances ingame, of course. I wish there were more online players, then it would be even better. thats about it.... sorry its mostly RTS and sonic, its mainly biased and etc...i want to play half life 2 and halo 2 so I can put them on there (from what ive heard they definately need to be)
