That was "Smokey and the Badnik" wasn't it?
(Anyone who doesn't know - kid bear called Smokey is friends with a Roller badnik whose programming has become corrupted. Sonic shows up to smash said badnik, Smokey convinces him not to. The end. It may not sound much but it was an excellent little story.)
