^^^^^Whoa. I don't think I can match that sort of detail in a heat-of-the-moment post. I agree with you on Grimer. If Nigel hadn't been fired just then, then Grimer's story could have taken a turn for the better. Unfortunately, it was rushed into the Shaanzar Saga (or however the heck you spell it), and the possibilities for that were spoiled.
You know what a good idea would be? A forum purely for spam, where your post count isn't either increased or decreased by posting. You could then just keep the discussion forums free of spam, and give the spammers a place where they can still do it within the rules of the forum.
And that's my four pence.

But I wish to emphasise that I do not write in the way I do to act in a condescending manner towards others, yet simply as personal preference - and I do understand that this forum exists for recreational purposes? Hey Robert - I'm not denying you have the right to write like this, I'm just suggesting that it might be a good idea to challenge yourself to illustrate your points as clearly as possible. The forum exists, I suppose, so we can talk with each other. Communication is rendered impossible if your potential correspondants cannot comprehend what it is you are trying to express. (Damnit you've got me doing it now! )

Robert: There's a lot more to villains than how good they are at ruling the world. If Grimer returns (and I'm writing), it will probably be a story about grieving.
You can call me Ed, by the way.

It certainly demands a Herculanean exertion of patience to abide the deluges of corrupting spam spewing forth from this thread. And so, to engage in a belated, desparate, and probably tragically futile endeavour to seize this errant thread and revert it to its original topic... ...one group of Sonic the Comic's substantially restricted association of collaborators and anti-heroes that I have always maintained a degree of affection for was the unit of the Badnik Army Repair Functionaries (Contracted to the abominable pun of B.A.R.F.) - namely, Cam the Cat and Bert the Ox. They were featured in two Sonic's World strips where they sedulously strove and laboured to sustain Dr. Robotnik's legions of vicious and amoral robots. This included reprogramming two malfunctioning 'nicenik' Buzz Bombers, and also subduing a revolt of the (Miracle Planet) Palm Tree Panic Zone's badnik contingent, manufacturing the insurmountable and indomitable squadron of badniks - the brutally effective "Seven" - to suppress them. It could be interesting, as a brief strip dedicated to farce, about what has transpired to these two notorious characters since the deposition of Robotnik abruptly rendered them redundant (and did they protest outside the palace of His Excellency the Earl Majestic of the Metropolis Zone because they did not receive their pension? ;D). Are they now engineers of a D.R.A.T. enclave? Have they been imprisoned, or were they simply executed by vengeful Mobians? Potentially they have merely been moping about the local unemployment office for several years, as degrees in applied cybernetics and robotic engineering presumably do not possess a great deal of esteem in modern Mobius...

Bring back Grimer soon. I can't wait to see what he has planned.
Also, bring back Plunder. He can go visit his ol' buddy, Knuckles.
Lastly, bring back Root.
