Plunder? yes Root? who cares

I care. That's enough. Root had potential. Plunder is... well just an old man's plea. Also, bring back The Seven. If Vermin can survive the electromagnetic pulse, so can they.

Wasn't Vermin just a guy in a suit? As opposed to sentient robots whose circuits were deactivated...

Vermin survived the same way shorty did but also the seven could be recharged

Everybody keeps mentioning Cam & Bert returning. Well, what did Cam & Bert do... they fixed Badniks. So there's no reason they couldn't have found The Seven (deactivated by the electromagnetic pulse) and brought them back online.
Blooming heck. Bring THEM BBBAAAAACCCCCKKKKKK!!!

I never liked Cam and bert. They always seemd pathetic, stupid characters to me. a waste of STC space

I agree but if he wants them back it's up to Ed to decide

Then coming back for just one or two issues, to make the return of The Seven run smoother, would be tolerated. Then that, as they say, would be that.

Fewwww this is a long topic. Anyway.....
People have mentioned Metallix coming back, I for one would love the Emperor Metallix to be somehow linked to Metal Overlord from Heroes.
Another Character I was always curious to see again made one appearence some time in the early run of STC. I can't recall the Issue but it involved Tails releasing this Evil version of Sonic from a Powerup TV. I remember him almost killing Sonic before Tails trapped him back in the Tv which Sonic booted into space, I was always curious to his fate.
As for new Characters, well I really would like to see Gamma/Omega or any of the E-100's in future issues, I know I'm probably the only person on this board who cares about these fellas, but well I really would like them to appear...

I think everything that ever needed to be said about the Sonic-based Metallix, beyond maybe the longer lasting effects they had, had been said by the end #72.

It is an old STC tradition to link new ideas to old stories and characters, a good example being Chaos to the Drakons who in turn where linked to the Aquatic Ruin zone sentinel.
