No, these are solicits released for distribution. Every comic company does this, IIRC the main goal being for comic book shops to have time to know what to order.

I'm surpised seeing the cover of issue 254, when issue 250 has just been released. I guess Archie plan pretty far ahead, and covers gets leaked? Well Archie has a bit of a history when it comes to revealing covers in advance of the issue. They've been doing this for quite a few years.

If I could work my will, I'd get Nigel K and Ian working together on a Sonic comic project.

Don't know about them doing a Sonic comic project together (would rather they join forces on a new Plunder comic), but I'd certainly like Archie to do some variant covers with StC staff, and maybe a Knuckles arc in Sonic Universe by Kitching.

Well, it would've been nice to see that typed instead of "I am angry because I'm forcing parallels to Other M and because I already know the Mecha Sally arc only served to redesign people because I can read the future and because everything that doesn't further the plot is mindless filler!", no? Okay, tell me how the Mecha-Sally arc wasn't just mindless filler, what did Team Fighters and Team Freedom achieve doing the past year and a half that have amounted to anything but stop at this location, fight robots and Mecha-sally, meet Secret Freedom Fighter member then watch the Death Egg and Mecha-Sally fly away. issue 234 to 240 minus issue 235 dealt with this kind of plot. After that, Team Fighters was stuck in mid air flying after the Death Egg. It wasn't until the endangered species arc started they did something that didn't involve Eggman, Mecha-Sally and the Death Egg. Team Freedom was even worse off, when they finally showed up they were either dealing with minor issues or shoved aside for Shard and the Secret Freedom Fighters. Now, according to the future comics, they don't even get to fight Tails Doll even if they started the fight issue 247, that honor goes to Sonic and Tails, which tells me they were just created to make the SFF look better and advance a sub plot that may or may not be retconned out of existence. Team Secret Freedom Fighters got one big advertised arc that amount to a generic plot of stop the wizard, yet change nothing in the end at all, furthermore, Nagus got a plot in motion that is now most likely moot since Archie can't use his current form. And I'm forcing the parallels to Other-M cause when I look at the redesigns of Antoine and Rotor, I see traces of the Other-M characters in them, which makes me consider that Flynn considers the versions he thought up to be better then the ones already present in the comic and that he's now retconning them into being more like them. But that's just my opinion. Then as I looked at Bunnie I groaned in disappointment, cause they made her being non robotic again a big deal with Flynn saying he had tons of plans for her when it first happened and that he would be exploring in depth how it would effect her. What did he do, he had go through emotional trauma then run away with hints of her seeking something to make her stronger, now a year and a half later that just tossed aside in a dues ex machine to bring back the freedom fighters once more as a Rabbot.

I agree with a lot of those points. I would like to bring up, though, that it looks like Bunnie's been Legionised rather than re-Roboticized. This doesn't necessarily have to be a complete reboot: it might just be a minor one to do away with Penders' characters.

Oh, I won't deny the Mecha Sally arc was awful. Derailed by Penders on one side and Paul on the other with his [censored]ing Secret Freedom Fighters nonsense.
What' I'll call your bull[censored] on is in your mindreading powers that tell you Ian made the arc specifically just to redesign characters.
I'll also call your bull[censored] on "HE'S MAKING THEM LOOK LIKE OTHER M!!!" when... he's not? What, because Antoine is shirtless, like, I don't know, sonic tails knuckles big storm jet shadow silver bean bark mighty ray espio vector chip and basically every SEGA Male except Charmy? I wonder if that was the intention? Naaaah, completely Other-M. Because it is literally impossible to conceive he doesn't worship a fancomic he made in 1999 or so.

This doesn't necessarily have to be a complete reboot: it might just be a minor one to do away with Penders' characters. I think so too... it's fairly obvious from Bunnie's last words to Antoine what she was planning to do... Also I think the Mecha Sally arc could have been awesome... but yeah, she hasn't actually done all that much apart from hasty retreats!

It is a bit of a flop (but at least we had less Sally for a time!) and Paul on the other with his [censored] Secret Freedom Fighters nonsense. Paul as in the editor? I thought they were Ian's idea.

Don't have the source on hand, so give me a while while I search for it, but it was confirmed meanwhile it was Paul's idea.

Is it just me, or did a Goomba from Mario appear in a panel in Mega Man Issue 27.

No, between the colours, eyebrows, shape, and feet, that's clearly a Goomba.

I finally got hold of Worlds Collide 9 to 11 - oh MY GOD, the art in #250! That's the best battle I've seen in any Archie Sonic ever, it sizzles on the page (and Eggman's scene with Light is creepier than I was expecting from this story)

It IS real good! I got it yesterday. The artwork is top notch and it's so amusing to watch how Wily and Eggman's alliance falls apart.

The final part was brilliant, oh Eggman what have you done. I just loved how Eggman and Wily's friendship fell apart so quickly at the end. Sabotaged each other lol.
