One a more serious mode, how about some trips into other zones/dimensions.

Maybe Jet could use his fan blade weapons or the Ark of the Cosmos as a weapon against Sonic, maybe this time he actually wants to eat him?

One a more serious mode, how about some trips into other zones/dimensions. Unlike miru, you're making some sense. And by some, I mean a lot. I second this idea. Zone/dimension exploring hasn't been done in a while. Be great for world building. Moreso, see if anyone wants to take up the challenge of drawing landscapes.

I'm just a humble art hume not a writer, so nothing I says like an official opinion or anything but... isn't Zone exploring terrible for world building. My one issue with Lew's zone hoping stories, or later his retconning of shazanar and then exploration of the 'new zone' was thats what it removed, and actually the stories stopped feeling part of the same world (more so amy and tekno than the sonic ones) Sonic Amy and the gang have a whole planet, a small miracle planet and a floating island to explore, plus Drak, and there was even a Special zone till shadow/ed reynolds went and unmade it I mean some of the zone hoping stuff was great, or if not great most of it was still entertaining, but most of them were throw away adventures that didn't really add to this mythos of the world, in fact they were in whole new world each fortnight that could be thrown away at the end of the story. That not to say STC-O shouldn't do this, world building for the sake of world building get us far away from Nigel and less writing which was whats fun and works, and closer to Ken Penders detailed epic that lose any sense of fun and ends up with 20 million echidnas, so i'm not saying no zone hoping, it part of STC lore at this point.

I can picture a character like Silver travelling through dimensions/time. That counts as world building if well written.

other than liking the one moment Sonic met Tony Blair, I'd like much less earth in my STC, I terms of world building again the only good thing I think we got out of earth was granite, and even then I think he's a so so villain. this is all my personal prejudice I understand, but why oh why would we want to explore earth in a Sonic Comic.... (and for people who do pick up archies Sonic X series)
Earth stories as I recall were editor mandates given to Lew, and while I understand the rational (earth is somewhere readers can relate to) even at 10 I was aware that I wanted my fantasy not to include the boring places I lived, and focus on the cool places with the robots and chaos emeralds

I didn't mean it like that, I was thinking more along the line of having them explore a zone for the idea of housing refugees there since even the miracle planet can be invaded, it would tie into the main story and give it a purpose. A bit confused here, but I get the overall idea. And like I said, I didn't think of it as them going on a adventure through a dozen zones or so just for the sake of drawing pretty backgrounds and adding more locations that serve no overall point in the comic.

I would like to see The Kukkus, Black Arms, Erazor, Witchcart, Merlina, Deadly Six, Biolizard, Eggman Nega, Captain Whisker, Gamma, Omega, Bunnie (she was in Sonic Spinball), Shahra, Marine, and Witchacart's goons.

Err Miru, are you serious or are you just sprouting out random stuff.
Anyway.
How about some new locations then? Maybe basing them on the Dreamcast Era games like, Station Square, Green forest, Seaside Hill Zone or some from the modern games.

Trying to incorporate a wider spread of Sonic material. You can see Seaside Hill in the most recent Big story. Was meaning to mention about the dimensions as well: I'm working on two stories just now, and both of them involve a trip to a new dimension as a large part of the story. However, considering the scheduling, don't expect to see them for at least another couple of years.

Anything I can do to help the production speed up?

Megadroid has been really busy droiding some megas. It's not his fault, he just wants to be the one who fights for justice.

With all those suggestions (Deadly Six as a brutal drug cartel, etc), I was making fun of you having Rouge, Babylons, etc as villains.

Miru, you seem to see things in a really black-and-white kind of way. Just because someone isn't a hero doesn't make them a villain. The Babylon Rogues are jerks and Rouge is self-serving, but they're not necessarily villainous.

They are listed as villains on the STC Wiki. Read the stories and think for yourself, for goodness' sake. I'm trying hard not to get frustrated with this but you are literally repeating the same thing every second day. Rouge isn't a good guy. The Babylon Rogues aren't good guys. They're not BAD guys but they're not as nicey-nice as Sega's homogenised mulch. I'm afraid you're going to have to deal with it. Oh, and chinny reckon about it being a joke as well. It's not his fault, he just wants to be the one who fights for justice. Megas, you mean this megas? *nods approvingly*
