I'm putting this here because it's as good a place as any - New casting. Is there anyway to get an RSS feed to Edgar Wright's blog without having to sign up to MySpace, it's just that I heard MySpace gives you cancer.

Woah, cast overload! I have never heard of most of those people but I approve of the ones I have heard of (just Chris Evans and Brandon Routh then).
Is this still on for this year? Have they even started shooting yet? Does anyone want to pay for my ticket to go back to Toronto and try and sneak in the background?

O'Malley did warn that Amazon orders could well be delivering significantly after the actual release. I believe on the UK site at least, it even lists the release date as the 18th because that's how long it'll take.
Myself, I'm just gonna go down to Gosh! for opening time and pick me up a copy (since UK stores get it today rather than yesterday or something).

When I ordered vol 4 off Amazon, it told me to expect it about a week after the initial release then they went and sent it to me two days after, so we shall see.
I'ma have to activate Internet Spoiler Dodge Mode now, aren't I? Dang it.

Read it again and it went from my initial impression of being quite disappointing to being pretty damn good.

It's so short, though. Still awesome, but shorter than the others. Also, it seemed like less happened.

I found myself thinking about it more after reading. Completely agree. Thought: The spine design changes between 1-3 and 4+, something I wasn't initially fond of. The coloured odds + ends book takes place between 3 and 4. When shelving them, I put the odds + ends book in between 3 and 4, and the spine difference actually looks pretty good.

Never read Scott Pilgrim. No idea what it's about or what I'd like about it, so I expect a full explanation of why it's awesome and how I should be berating everyone that's ever worked at Forbidden Planet ever to get my hands on it.

Even though it encompasses everything I despise about my generation and that which appeals to it, and the people who like it are the type of people who use words like "Zeitgeist", it's ok.
