Finished this today. The only real complaint I can make is about the boss fights... as in, there are actually only two bosses you really fight (and unsurprisingly they're the most fun). I can see what they were trying to do with some of them, particularly with the Killer Croc encounter, but really it's so disappointing to just fight endless waves of enemies when you'd much rather go toe-to-toe with Harley Quinn (well, what straight guy wouldn't? ). The last boss in-particular is (if you'll pardon the expression) a joke. Really though, I consider that to just be nit-picking, when everything else is so expertly crafted. Real effort was put into this game, and it's reminded me of why I love games in the first place. It's going to take something really impressive between now and New Year's Day to knock this down as my personal Game of the Year.

I enjoyed all of arkham asylum and just finished a written review about it. really everything was good, the flaws and were ironically only there so the game wont be frustrating.
the only thing I didn't like was the final boss which I wont say

Did anyone else spot: Ras Al Ghoul's name tag on the foot of a body in a body bag in Dr Young's office - one of the Riddler's riddles - and how at the end of the game, it's missing? I love little things like that.

Just popping to say I fully expected this game to be a piece of crap, but it's actually fabulous. Pip pip!

Arch: I didn't notice that Ra's had gone missing, but last night I was wandering through the medical facility, having completed the game and being in the process of mopping up the last few riddles, and found the three doctors you had to rescue had barricaded themselves in one of the rooms. Talking to them yielded conversations about the fireworks display Joker was setting off to attract you to the final showdown. I thought that was a nice touch.
Speaking of which, did anyone else poke around in the visitor's centre before you're meant to go there? You get some really creepy conversations with Joker.

A sequel? Already?

A sequel, to the one of the biggest games this year? How improbable!
Anyways, it's not as if it's coming out tomorrow. Don't expect this any earlier than the end of next year.

I'm just bitter due to lack of other sequels, namely HL: Ep 3 and Legacy of Kain games! XD

Most excellent.
I'm gonna hazard a guess and say Two-Face is a predominant bad guy here, based on the official website poster (if he hasn't been confirmed already).

Dear Rocksteady:
I would like 3 things:
1) Two Face and Mr Freeze Bosses and Catwoman chases.
2) Make Batman look less beefy.
3) Put Harley in her red and black gear.
Love John.

As brilliant as Scarecrow's stuff in Arkham was, I'd say it's been played out. A sequel needs to stand out on its own - maybe by focusing on the Penguin or Two-Face or something like that.
